@BlackZero3579 When it comes to that particular game, you need to have the gamecube controller in the slot where the character that you want to play is in, same as for Wiimotes, so you would need to be the 3rd GC control to play Homer, or the 3rd Wiimote.

The mame emulator on Wii was never finished. Even now the updated version has just been worked on only for a few months. It's not built to play CPS board games.

It's called the Mame on the Wii has not been completing fitted to use the Hardware. It's a quick job version of the CPU version. PSP hackers are constantly working on their stuff. Where there is a very small Wii Hacking group. With only a handful of guys who know how to do it.

Dont get too upset, the PSP has a better N64 emulator, which makes no sense seeing as how the psp has a much weaker processor at 333MHz.

Erm... well... The PSP N64's emu goes still slow. I haven't checked the Wii's but Smash brothers through the VC is fine (And PSP has its own emulator for the PSX, through eboots)

And just to clear something, MAME emulation in both consoles is still not completed yet. The reason why PSP can emulate Marvel vs Capcom is because has specific emulator for it (CPS2PSP, CPSPSP, and MVSPSP for Neo Geo) While Wii is just trying with a generic arcade emulator. Hardware is not all

You are going to need to set up your controller for player 2 3 or 4. Make sure to make player 1 none!

Make sure both controllers are plugged in. Ok you use the first controller to set up the second one. Example. High light Player 2 button 1. Press A on controller 1. Then use controller 2 and press the button you want to be there. Controller 1 activates it and Controller 2 gets inputed.

I got Wii connect 24 turned off and can get all the way into the game but when I try to start a game it freezes and get the message the wii is shutting down now and it turns off or reboots and this happens with every single game. I got my wavebird turned on.

How did you get x-men 4 players to run?

I tried your rom file from the howto video and it just starts up the EEPROM screen but under one of the HEX values it says BAD.. then keeps cycling this screen.. never actually enters the game.

Try setting your control up, and enter some coins. Then use the first Mame File I uploaded the new version may have issues. I haven't tried it on that version. Also the 4 player doesn't work only 3.

ok what game are you trying to play. That could have something to do with it. Big games will not load right now. I tried Street Fighter 3 a while ago. It took it 45 minutes to load, and finally the Wii gave up and reseted. The emulator still has some waves to go before it can play big games. If you can't load small games like Simpson street fighter 2. Then I'm not sure what the problem is.

Only gamecube or Wavebird controllers will work. Make sure to turn the wavebird on before you start the emulator.

How did you copnfigure the controls like that.I got the simpons to run but none of the buttons work.

Press start on the gamecube controller. Then a black box will appear. Press it down if it dosen't show up. Then go to input game option. ONce inside highlight a controller option. Like Player 1 Joypad up. Press A and then with the controller you are using. Press up on the stick. Keep doing with all the buttons and directions.

I have gotten alot of Sprite games to work really well. TMNT, X-Men, Simpson, Spiderman arcade, and Street Fighter 2 series. Anything with a different graphic style may cause problems.

welp turning off the 2ii connect helped greatly. I can get the menu & use the controller but now another problem happens.

It would load up the game & get the EEPROM screen & then reload back to the game select screen & then reset the Wii on its own. This gets better lol

-the Initializing screen sits there and doesnt give me the rom menu

-if I do get the rom menu I cannot select my game whether it's a wii remote or GC controller

Inside my SD card which is a ScanDisk 2gig.

The Root or first area. I have my Apps folder, mame folder. Mame is lowercase. and mameroms folder which is also lowercase. I also have in the root area a mamefs-fs file. Inside the apps folder is the mame folder "lowercase", and inside that folder is a Boot.elf, icon, and meta files.
