Technically, it did disappoint a little. It could have been a whole lot bigger and badder if the entirety of the story was used, since so much was written as back story for the plot, yet it felt like no plot was there at times. Would have been good to get to play as the other members of the 9 as well.
Now if they could just make a NEW Wild 9, I know for sure it would rock. Granted, this is a good game, but it's more an experiment to what it could be. ;)
I guess I'll just have to buy this one. Saw it in a store that still has PSX games today (and I just happened to buy the PSX version of Red Alert when I was there). :)
yea i had this on my first ps1 demo it had crash warped ridge racer meatal gear solid tomb raider 3 spyro the dragon medievil it would be great if they brought back all of the playstation originals back on the ps3 hey at least twisted meatal is coming back on the 3
than the 1's now!!!!!! " Well said. Old ones were a lot more creative and tended to be better because they didnt have to spend so much on graphics to make people want to buy it.
You realize that's what people said then about the SNES/Geneis-era games. And that's what we'll say in a couple of generations from now about today's games.
I think the problem is that games are progressively getting less creative. Games will always be good, and will probably get more involving, per se, but every generation they lose a little more heart and originality, if you ask me.
"I think the problem is that games are progressively getting less creative. Games will always be good, and will probably get more involving, per se, but every generation they lose a little more heart and originality, if you ask me.
It's inevitable, I suppose."
Not understanding how its inevitable.. blame it on the publishers, they won't accept anything too creative, so the people who make original games dont get the publicity they need. I played this game on demo a LOT :P
Because we just can't get enough FPS shooters where it takes place in WWII, the guy is a grizzled lone wolf, or a 3rd person horror/action where the main character is an emo anti-hero who's just "misunderstood."
I think i played a demo of this on one of the purple discs that came with the Playstation. Number 8 I believe. I forgot what it was called. This is awesome.
Not sure if I agree with "You will never feel as if the game cheats" statement because when you pick up enemies and try to run with them and hop over a grinder they sometimes go in by accident because running and slinging the enemy inflict with each other, but the game is good.
I used to play this when i was 4 and i still emember it clearly! :D

this game is one the best ones that I've played in my life.
The first time that I had played this, was on a pirate beta version, that had all levels enabled, missing soundtracks, and an unfinished final boss ¬¬
Unfortunally, I sold with my old PS1 many years ago. I'd like to find an original version to by, also this beta version.
