YEs the bell does unless the engineer hold the off button when blowing the horn. The ditches go on with horn(on P42's they go on wit a ful blast of the horn, quill wont do) Its a Ped. crossing also
Ditch lights are used to view the position of switches at low speeds, if flashing they catch peoples attention easier and they just provide more light than just one. Hope this helps.

Sounding the horn initiates ditch light wig-wags. Does the bell also do the same?
What is wrong the grade crossing signals.
Do not clear for FAR too long. Operated by the block signal circuit and not their own crossing circuit?
Perfect capture of them starting. Wish we had seen them clear.
