@jm1072 Great question! The rope attachment (bearing buddy coil, p/n: MD99-603) would do the trick. The more wraps the better, but don't overheat with the rope coil, as this coil can be damaged once you heat over 400 degrees F. Also, a split coil would do it as well, and the firm pre-formed coils can be used to heat red hot without damage to the coil.
So to free up a lock nut that is frozen to an inner tie rod end I would use the rope attatchment and just wrap it around the nut?
