My mom said Shayla is half Vietnamese and half Thai. Her mom is Viet and her father is Thai. This explains why she doesn't really have that "Oriental look" of Vietnamese. Thai people are also mixed a lot with European to begin with so...no wonder some people think she looks kinda Hispanic.
