I've got to say walking contradiction is my favorite song by green day. You've got to see the band preform because it's a totally different experience than just listening to them on the radio. Man I love old green day, new green day is pretty good too, but it's the old one that I love and enjoy. And DAMN Mike was hot back then!!

Most bands spend so much time on the lyrics that they forget the music... Green Day has more rhythm than most bands out there! And on top of that they have great lyrics and awesome energy live! They are the greatest live band the world has seen in like 30 years!

That is one of Dave's favorite bands. Dave has good taste in music for a guy the same age as my father. Dave also likes Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash, Alicia Keys, Warren Zevon, etc. He's all over the board as am I.

These guys are undeniably incredible. Mike is one of the world's best bassists, Tre' is one of the funniest. happiest drummers out there, and billie Joe is a remarkable singer and guitarist. There aren't enough words to describe them.

I agree. But im sick of people saying their nto good . The drumming on Homecoming, Jesus of Suburbia, and Waiting is amazing. The guitar intro on minority is complex and his ryhtm parts arent as easy as most rythm guitarist who play HIS STYLE of MUSIC(and he even sings while playing). Mike has also always a great bassist.

I think Tre is the best drummer in any rock band today. His drumming on Know Your Enemy and Basket Case is excellent I agree with you. It's hard to pick one favorite song from Green Day huh? Well as I said, it's nice to see Dave is still a rocker even at his age.

Green Day is definitely my favorite band ever.

They are the greatest band ever.

But their old stuff truly showcased their talent. Their new stuff is great...don't get me wrong. But they lost that grungy sound quickly. And Mike's riffs aren't as fun to play anymore. You've gotta cover them lol.

But they all are great. And i love their stuff. always will.
