well heel toeing doesnt only help it drift it helps so when u down shift your rpms go down and ur drive is going fast and if u dropped the clutch it would jolt foward so they brake with the toe and give it some gas to down shift and its smooth

Not sure what its called but i know some people also ujse the left foot for braking while they use the right foot to keep the revs up. Its used quite a bit in proffesional racing i believe.
