I hate to deliver you the bad news, but Cadillac makes unreliable cars & trucks. The Escalade is a major fail & so are their sedans. Look in this months Consumer Report to confirm this. The next video would probably have you beating the shit out of it. The car looks great & is powerful, but it'll cost you.

Ummm....Consumer Report's is a magazine that polls tens of thousands of vehicle owners. The people reporting that the Cadilac sucks are former/current owners. That is why American car manufacturers don't dispute the magazines. That is why the GM president himself admited that they build shitty cars. Youtube this: "Design flaws in American made cars" and then you'll understand a little more why these cars/trucks keep failing big time. They are DESIGNED to fail.

My CTS-V is great and routinely eats up all brands on the roadcourse. Warranty is like factory sponsorship. I love it. Consumer reports never contacted me and I've owned two. Everyone here is a little over zealous.

Unit, ever think that people prefer reliability over speed? I don't want a car that has power and speed. If I did, I'd pick an Audi or Mercedes anyway. The average car buyer owns a car so they dont have to take transit or cycle to work. Shopping sucks when you have 3 bags of grocercies balanced on your handle bars. People buy cars for commuting, and they have to make sure it lasts a long bloody time. Its the 2nd most expensive appliance you'll ever own. Don't ever get emotional or patriotic.

Some people prefer reliability. I prefer speed. However, speed + parts and maintainence. I have long since passed the age where my car was just for transportation. I'll just use the truck for haulin' stuff. I'll have my CTS-V forever. I can't wait to start modding it after warranty expires. I don't think I was emotional or patriotic. However, I AM both of those things and proud to be.
