  • We played it on AMIGA 500 in the 90's... never on console tho!

  • Why does everyone in this documentary suck so much at this game?

  • @Segador128 That's what I was gonna say but you beat me to it. It drives me nuts every time they do something stupid.

8:54 is beyond stupid, they could only fuck up that much on purpose.

  • i hate how those big ceo guys don't have any respect for "gameplay"

  • lol

  • playin tetris while watching this video

  • What version is shown at 7:57?

  • @SnowflakePillow

That version is "Tetris Classic" for IBM PC, by Spectrum HoloByte.

I'm interested in identifying the version shown at 8:50, it looks visually identical to the ZX Spectrum version, but the sound effects are different. From the context of the voice-over, it's implied that it's the PC version, but can anyone confirm this?

  • who holds the NES controller the way that kid does

  • @Shhhsplain

Shockingly, thats how they used to hold the controller back then. Because they thought it was easier to press all the buttons and everyone was used to arcade controls back then.

  • @Shhhsplain i used to play all my home console games by holding controllers that way from the 8-bit nes up until the sega saturn. it wasnt until i started playing the psone that i started holding the controller the traditional way. it was just more comfortable, especially when you played games that required you to press multiple buttons simultaneously. to this day im not sure why i stopped holding controllers that way, i didnt even realize that i changed the way i held them until much later.
