American football is VERY physical, in a different way to rugby though, plus the players are generally a LOT fitter than rugby players here.
But rugby is unique in it's own way and needs a certain type of player and technique. A lot of fitness and training fo into both sports and I think it's unfair that mikhailbelov says it's a "wussie american version".
Presumably he neither plays nor knows anything about either sport.
