yes, alot of people have this from dealing with a death - or as with the other episode the mother didnt want the child to grow up. My mother also was a sentimental collector (that was your first this /first that) what i did was to slowly get rid of the things, after she died i was overwhelmed with Gratitude for what a cool lady she really was- for me that feeling and realization is and was enough to hold on to- having keepsakes is great and i have a few but i kept only the precious ones
