I wonder how many people in general and black people in particular would be willing to go homestead land in the plains and west under the same terms of the original homesteads. It's not completely true to say that this land was free. Some of it was basically a VA benefit for soldiers, but other homesteads required a certain number of years of residence before you actually owned it. How many black people really want to live in Podunk Montana for ten years for $50,000 worth of land?

Listen to the first part of the "I have a dream speech" Dr. King was a great man, he loved Black children, watch any video where children was present and look at the light in his eyes.
