@rrgert4 I have a ds-1 and it works pretty well as boost.
I won't use it in a different way because the amp has a footswitch shipped along.
My settings with the ds-1 is dist just a notch over a quarter level allt ehw ay up and tone a notch down one quarter.
Hope this helped!

@liamzuid where do you put the boss ds1 ? in the fx loop ? or normally in the input ? also what difference is there in "bright" and "normal" input?
@rrgert4 There isn't really a right or wrong way to do it.
But in general distortions, overdrives, wahs and phasers go in front and other effects like chorus, delay go in the fx loop.
Bright input is just more trebly but I recommend the normal one.
I am currently running this amp treble 6 mid 7 and bass 7,5 and pressence 7.
I don't know how I ran it in this video, but I do know that my gain is 4 here.
@liamzuid thanks, btw i havent bought it yet though :D
I suppose this sounds very hollow.
That's just because there is no bass or drums in it at all.
I tried to make it sound less empty with some chords but I did use little reverb.
