  • amazon has several new copies of the dvd for sale as well as used vhs.

  • saw this film several times in theatres love every minute of it.the driving through the sign at the end of the film made the film.the sign was the pride of the company by smashing that it had not only embarred that corp.but it had a galvanizing effect with all the independent truck for they all went on strike.well written, acted ,directed movie.

  • i don't think i would of told them i was coming

  • guess what I just got a wonderful clear dvd copy of whiteline fever on ebay I am one proud female and the song is the bomb I love it my kid told me to turn it off after hearing it one hundred times ck ebay

  • ???????

Shouldn't EVERYBODY be shooting the windshield on the driver's side?!?!???

  • It's a movie about in independent trucker fighting the big companies. The scene before this one they killed his best friend.

  • Ok movie from the late 70s,really didn't understand why he drive thru the gate got shot up then thru that billboard and smashed up his truck?? Didn't accomplish anything??

  • This film was on Sony / Crackle for the longest time for free, got to watch it a couple of times and would watch it again if it was still up. Would like to see an HD transfer of this Cool flick, JMV in his prime.

  • 1:43 - there is some one in the cab with Carol JO on the passenger side looking out the window. When he left his house he was in it all by himself

  • A mans Gota do what a mans Gota do

  • And it's good!! The crowd cheering!

  • Cool scene, really annoying music.

  • watch full movie ! :) watch?v=sxFyXmKyevE

  • Poor truck :(

  • Um excelente filme , gostei.

  • No one was in that truck then, from what I read. It was pulled through capstans by vehicles going the other way. If you landed inside that truck, you'd be sure to get at least a broken back. I can't see them risking a man like that. The tow-truck in Terminator 2 was launched into the trench that same way. They even took the engine out for balance. The Blue Mule's engine was torn loose, and axles bent, etc. That drop is an unholy thing for a truck to do. Everything would be destroyed...

  • 70's and 80's were the best decades ever. everything was simpler and clearer and much more straight forward. the good was good and the evil was evil. D.O.B. July 4, 1973

  • The Blue Mule is a bad ass FORD!

  • He came out the house for real! He was not playin' he had enough! I scared of Jan Michael Vincent!

  • Saying "honey" nowadays will get yo azz sued :-)))

  • Now try that with the golden Arches (Mc Donalds) or the crooked E (Enron) lol

  • @TheMp40cal i drive a semi, and it's been at least 3 yrs. since i had a hooker knocked on my door ! None of them are like what Hollywood portrays them to be...NAASTY !

  • R.I.P mule! your dearly missed! awesome old WT-9000!

  • if you watch real close, at the very end, you see a quick flash of the "mule" when they take carrol jo out in the wheelchair. it's a real quick flash at the very left hand side of the screen, but it's there. and,

  • hold on they had car phones in 1975 wow

  • 5 People don't know what a classy truck is!!!!!! and is going to get ran over by the Blue Mule!!!!!! The Blue Mule is king of ALL Movie Trucks

  • Are there really hookers you get to have sex with at truck stops? I only saw a porno about your industry. It is as dirty and grime-filled of an occupation sexually as it looks? Has a trucker ever been given crabs (pubic lice) in the history of trucking?

  • favorite movie since i was just a little kidd<3 and i'm only 16 haha

  • i have been driving for 15 years. once you get that diesel in your blood its there to stay

  • That ford looked like it meant business too. it had a mean gill on it. and the engine revving up and the music make it kinda scary. I saw this movie when i was about 10, always respect the cab overs lol.

  • Just incase if you didn't know, Ford DID make the W series cabovers. Ford made the W9000 while Kenworth made the W900.

  • "And with Joe Dante at 5" hahahahahahahahaha

  • This should be the official orientation video for all trucking schools, lol.

    ;-)

  • I guess forgetting the post trip isnspection is OK, but JMV forgot t do his pre trip inspection!

  • the "kurt cobain" of truckers!!

  • HOOOOOOOLY FUCK DAT JUMP WAS INSANEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

  • Love that old movie!! best Trucker movie ever. lol

  • DRIVE FRIENDLY? -_- LOL

  • did carey loftin do that jump into the GH? i cant recall.Love the scene where that disphit deputy car spins off the trucks back wheels.I was just a kid when this movie came out,and i was totally captivated by tractor trucks, all kinds.Used to know an owner/operator who would give me rides in his peterbilt cabover and his transtar 4300 conventional.Thought i would become a driver myself, but i didnt

  • EVEN TODAY i REMEMBER THIS MOVIE AND ITS SAD TO SEE WHAT THE ACTOR DID TO HIMSELF FROM THE BOOZE.

  • if he put a bull bar on that truck, th e truck would have still been drivable

  • The message of this story is so powerful and rings true to this day.

  • 3:04 - 3:13 the end of that toast should have been...."at the expense of working men!"

  • haha truck drivn shows!! a thing of the passed. Truck drivers where half assed crime fighters back in the day!! Miss those days, call me old fashioned.

  • @ydnarnosfatsug wish they would be the unsung heroes agin

  • Jan Michael Vincent right? I forgot all about this movie.

  • that guy's in Hooper with Burt Reynolds

  • if this was my old scania the hole clip would have been of me building up the air +5 mins

  • I saw this movie at the theatre when I was a kid in the seventies. I thought it was awsome. So cool.

    ralph

  • Kids, these are the trucks we had back then.

  • @whiteandgold26 yup not the plastic crappy volvos

  • Excellant ! There are not many who interpreted what the true "Story-Line" or "Plot" was. I was runnin' with T.S.M.T. IN 75', and at that point in time the trucking industry was full of corruption on the inside. 40 yrs. earlier before we were even born, The "National Labor relations act" (1935) was enacted to protect workers. It works...... "Theoretically" !!................ "Snowman II" 10/50

  • awesome movie!!!

  • Saw this at the drive-in when I was 3 years old and NEVER forgot it. Loved this movie. I called all cabover trucks "White Line Fever" and all conventional cabs "Movin' On." LOL. God bless the 70s!

  • 3:02 DRIVE FRIENDLY LOL

  • Carrol, (Vincent), doesn't DIE after crashing the sign. If you want to watch

the entire movie and don't mind some commercials go to crackle dot com.

    I just finished watching it.

  • so.... he broke the guys fence and crashed into a sign of the guys company causing maybe $38000 in damages to $30000000 worth of property, all of which well be cover by insurance by the way, and dies doing it... boy! he really taught the bad guy a lesson! by the way this was the 1st movie I ever saw on VHS in 1982.

  • @keewatin427 It was an act of symbolism, in retaliation for causing his wife's baby to abort. If you watch the video to the end he did live and all the truckers went on strike in support of his actions THAT'S WERE HE CAUSED THE DAMAGE TO THE RULING CLASS SCUM. This movie is about collective bargaining at it's core.

  • Gotta love 1970's continuity - at 1:42 someone else materialises in the passenger seat of the lorry, and fires a gun at the police car !

  • @newforestroadwarrior your right!!!!

  • String drives a truck as well lol

  • what truck is that a ford?

  • @Rnormand98

Yes it is a Ford, Ford WT-9000 to be exact

  • Jan Micheal Vincent is in pretty bad shape these days.

  • wats with the guy in the passenger seat at 1:43

  • @mitchie4231 Good catch.. I sure never noticed him.

  • #3 on my list after convoy & highballin' for the best trucker movie. smokey & the bandit is 4th.

  • @natefullahate

there is no way in heck Convoy & High Ballin' beat this movie, this IS the BEST Trucker movie ever and then by your chain it would be #2 High Ballin' and #3 Convoy

  • @thedueltruck600 dude how can you put the rubber duck at #3.

  • @natefullahate

Easy, cause he doesn't drive a kick ass ford "which are my favorite" like Carrol Jo Hummer and drives a under chromed Mack actually I put the Duck at #4 and High Ballin' at #3 and Over the Top is now at #2, I don't go by how good the movie is, in this case White Line Fever is my favorite movie cause, it's has the best looking truck out of any other trucking movie, it's a Ford and far more kicks ass then any other movie truck

  • @thedueltruck600

Yeah it was an awesome truck, but it never sold as well as trucks like the Freightliner Argosy. (Sadly.)

  • please post this movie

  • отличныйфильм!!! смотрел тридцать лет назад! ещ хочу!!!!!!

  • ho.....ley......shit

  • Fucking great scene! CGI can't touch that!!!!

  • i have this film on video and dvd its a fantastic film and i love this truck :)

  • i wonder how come no one posted the whole movie in parts here.

  • Guys at around 1:44 there is a guy in the passenger seat!!

  • @Freechocolates

the actor that was was sitting in the passenger seat is Sam Laws, he played a character called "Pops" earlier in this movie, but his character was also murdered earlier in movie

  • I love this film but cannot find the name of the opening theme song or who the woman who sings it is?

  • @irishimp2

The singers name is Valerie Cater. The name of the song is "Drifting and Dreaming"

  • surviving mule???? That truck was toast after the sweet jump!

  • @TransparentLady

that's where you wrong, when you get a movie that has a main character truck like this, they have to use alteast more than truck if there is alot of stunts in the movie, cause not just that one jump, but there was other stunts were it made damage to the truck too, that people who made the movie, did not want viewers of the movie to see, actually for the Blue Mule Character truck they used 5 Trucks, 2 were brand new,one left over and 2 stunt trucks that didn't serve the movie

  • @TransparentLady

the 2 Brand New trucks were 2 1974 Ford WT-9000's, one had a cummins the other one had a Detroit, listen to the sound of the engine in this scene during the day light you'll hear the differences,to this day 2 '74 WT-9000's still exist, I've Found the one with the Detroit Engine in, but will not release picture's on here, cause the guy doesn't wanna be bothered, But I am willing to e-mail picture's of it in a private e-mail, if promise not to put them up on here

  • @TransparentLady

the other '74 WT-9000, with the cummins is still out there, but the current location of it is unknown, I've hard that one is still in California still in service daily, the 3rd truck that was bought for the scene's that were shot in 1975, was a '75 Ford W-9000, that truck stayed at universal studio's until the mid-80's and then was auctioned off and went to a trucking company, it's to long to post it up on youtube of what happen to that truck, all I know is it just vanished

  • @TransparentLady

the '75 W-9000 can still out there than again it can't be, I don't it just vanished after 1991 I can't find the places it went to, I call the '75 W-9000 a left over, cause it was bought at a dealer in Arizona, unlike the 2 '74's when they got those 2 trucks donated from the factory for the movie, the other trucks were used a 1973 Ford W-9000 and a 1965 Ford W-1000, that was modified to look like a WT-9000, look in the crash scene before it crashes and look at the head lights

  • @TransparentLady

as in before it crashes look a the grill and haedlights, you can see different brackets foe the headlights and that the grill was modified, showing that before life in the movie, it had a square grill and was a W-1000, the 2 stunts trucks never survived the movie so, they were scrapped a while back one of them was scrapped in 1975 after filming the other was scrapped a year later in 1976,cause it still had good parts on it, It's like Rubber Duck's Truck from Convoy

  • as in they used more than one Black Mack from Rubber Duck's Truck in the movie convoy, there's also video's of the surviving Rubber Duck here on youtube as well

  • @thedueltruck600 Rubber ducks truck is still alive.....Actually,the same guy owns 2 of the film trucks.

  • @SPUPRR

Well Yeah, said I there was 4 of them used and there's video's of one of them on youtube, there's also a Blue Mule still alive in New Jersey too

  • White line fever even more of a Action-Docu-Drama by todays standards than then.

  • I have it on dvd also and it 1 of my favorite movies of all time. Wish we could have seen pics of the truck at the end of the movie though after the jump.

  • F.I.S.T

  • "Duel" was better..

  • Damn! But it's Stringfellow Hawke!!

  • Like Convoy on of the best trucker films made, huh? This definably tops Convoy and is way better than Convoy

  • R.I.P BLUE MULE

  • the surviving Blue Mule is in New Jersey

  • So sad the Mule got trashed!! lol

  • there was more than 1 Mule, the surviving one is in New Jersey

  • i would have never told them im was coming

  • Apres moile de de luge

  • LOVE COE TRUCKS!

  • vill ha tag i slut musiken till filmen

  • yes smash the pigs

  • was this based on a true story >? i thought it was

as i said based on a event

  • They sure don't make 'em like that old Ford COE anymore do they? Damn shame.

  • ford wt 9000 ?

  • yeah Ford WT-9000

  • yes it is a Shame the Ford WT-9000's were the best!

  • TUCSON, AZ

  • funny..... those ole cabovers = goodguys

  • i got it on ebay no problem

  • I have it on VHS that I taped when it was on HBO back in the '80s.

  • What a great movie!! Not many cab-overs left. I drove a '85 International 9600 cab-over for a while.

  • It isn't on ebay but i managed to get a tape

  • long live the green donkey

  • What happen after this jump?

  • they show him at the hopistal and a big crowd of truckers stand infront of him to say thanks!

  • That fuckin jump was fuckin hard core man...thay gotta to put this on DVD!!!

  • @69dodge01 they did

  • it would b nice to get the whole movie on here to watch it

  • its on megavideo for free

  • That was a cool bit of movie-making. Was this movie on tape? I wouldn't object to doing an eBay search if it was.

  • to bad drivers now adays wouldnt show support for another driver like they did back then

  • Long live the Blue Mule!! This was a great movie, too bad they tore up a bad ass truck. The roads are little boring theses days, not enough variety in trucks.lol

  • that's right Long live Blue Mule

  • thats my dads old trcuk, they rented his for the movie no lie, its a trip he just told me yesturday

  • we need more evidence :)

  • the Surviving Blue Mule is in New Jersey

  • @riker23 Yea no way is a studio is going to rent a truck and trash it like that.

I say boo 'urns to that too.

    But nice truck stunt!!!

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER bull shit

  • @transitcoffin why bull shit

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER

Bull Crap!!!! the 2 used trucks from this film never survived the film and were scraped after filming

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER

ha, they stole and removed engine before they jumped it by the looks of things too.!!

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER I hope they put down a really really big deposit, cause I suspect they may have abused it some. Just sayin'...

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER Did it survive? I never saw this movie before.

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER

Any way to show your claim isn't just "Scuttle butt"?

The reason I wonder is that we can claim (with proof) over 150 years, in all manner of trucks.

  • @18YROLDTRUCKER

Paperwork, the industry runs on paperwork!!! Show me! If your claim is true, you have paperwork.

  • I got this movie on dvd off ebay about a year ago,its hard to beat a old trucking movie.

  • I love this movie. One of my all time faves. I hope they release it on dvd sooner rather then later!!!!

Thank Riker. I enjoyed this lil clip!!

  • One of the 6 coolest,& famous rigs ever!!!!

  • Carey Loftin was the trucker in 'Duel' also. Another 70's classic directed by a renegade 'Steven Spielberg'.

  • So what was the end? JMV is dead and his revenge is knocking down the big sign? Or is there more to it ?

  • he lives and all owner operater show up at the hospital

  • is jan micheal vincent alive or dead???

  • Comment removed

  • No Ron and Slipper, Jan's very much alive. he's around 64 now!!!

  • i love that old ford

  • The newer trucking films such as "Black Dog" just dont compare to the classic 1970s 80s trucking films and tv shows like BJ. Those are true classics that can never be equalled. Famous actors, real truck stunts and crashes, awesome truck sounds. Today its all computer animated stuff. Totally unrealistic now. We will never see a truck movie equal to the classics.

  • black dog is a good trucking film but it just has alot more action then you paid 9 dollars at the theatre for

  • Love the music!

  • I saw this at the movies as a kid. It's always been a favorite of mine. Classic 1970's Americana. God bless the U.S.A..

  • that'll buff out.

  • This film is unquestionably a classic. The great stuntman Carey Loftin did the truck stunts in this film, he was also the guy who drove the menacing tanker truck in S. Spielberg's 1971 classic "Duel". I have this film on DVD, I found it on Ebay.

  • Wow I didn't know that, now this makes this movie even more of a classic to me.

Carey Loftin was THE man... :)

  • *Correction* Gary Loftin.

  • It is Carey Loftin, not Gary.

  • I stand corrected.

  • i believe Buddy Joe Hooker did the stunts on this

    film.

  • boy, he really taught that sign a lesson! this was the first movie i ever saw on VHS in like 1980 or 81.

  • My step-father had a Ford just like this one. Very cool.

  • i did that in my erf once, it had a weak spring after

  • it's a shame he only killed the sign!

  • one of my fav movies ever I cant find the fucker anywhere!

  • White Line Fever is on DVD on ebay

  • Couple days in the shop she'll be good as new.

  • I have only seen this movie once on cable. HBO showed it once back in about 1993 or so. I have not seen it on cable on any channels since. It is too bad it is not available on DVD. I did see it on VHS offered on Ebay a few years ago.

  • White Line Fever is availible on DVD on a web site called truckerflicks

  • this is absolutely ridiculous

  • whats that ole' crackerbox have in it? sounds like, maybe, a 335 Detroit? or is it a Cummins? i know its one of them two. sounds like a Big Cam II Cummins

  • yeah its a cummins..he says so earlier on in the movie

  • This was a good movie it really sucks thaty they dont have it out on dvd ive been everywhere to try n find it ive even went as far as to download it n still nothing if anyone knows where to find this on dvd please let me know.
