@johntyler833 I'm not sure what you mean by fake. Do you mean did I employ some sort of editing or dubbing tricks to make this? The answer is no. It's a live recording with no editing except for clipping at the beginning and end so you don't have to watch me get settled in my seat or reach for the computer mouse to stop the recording. But you're welcome to think what you like.

@bravo723 interesting info about "Seasons in the sun" Jacques Brel did the original writing in French. Also The Kingston Trio and then the Beach Boys with Terry Jacks covered the song latter Jacks butchered out a verse about a cheating wife and made it a hit.. later then to be attempted by Nirvana.

I don't even know. It came with my $300 fostex multitracker. All i'm doing is using the fostex as a mixer for my guitar and vocals, sending the signal to the iMac via a stereo adaptor and then I record using iMovie.

Tim,..finally someone(YOU)played that song with all the little slide nuances that make that song GREAT,..I too started playing in the early 70's when acoustic music was in it's "post folk" erra, J. Taylor's is still my hero, but Gord's Gold is hard to beat too.
