  • Thank you Mr. Mute button

  • I want to drink at a bar where this is in the juke box.

  • I want a part 3..

  • very interesting tune.sounds like one of your early garage songs.

  • Whoah - it´s really dirty garage rock from the 60s. I love the sound. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands that didn´t "broke through" It´s a musical treasure. Listen for example to The Misunderstood and of course THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah. What a bloody driving beat - it´s really f....g good.

  • Super Song

  • That was Harvey Lembeck who played Eric Von Zipper.

  • This record was recorded and released in 1965

  • Come on guys, this was done totally tongue in cheek. In Bikini Beach (1964), there's a gang called The Rat's and their leader, who is middle-aged and looks like Buddy Hackett, keeps threatening people with the "Rat's revenge." This song was done later and has nothing to do with the film at all. But that must be what they're referencing.

  • @jbunnelle7 Baron Von Rat.

  • @jeezjacob fuck you

  • Wikipedia says they were active 1980-84. What's the correct year of this track?

  • @coryisawake that's a different band

  • @MirraSyren no

  • do they have more songs or album? i'm looking for similar sounds, maybe if you like this will like aswell "Los Saicos" (1965)

  • i can't believe people are arguing over whether this riff was stolen. That's like saying that all those blues songs you've been hearing for decades ripped someone off. It's just a signature sound of the time and genre. Give it a rest.

  • @omagine I'll agree and go with that.

  • all time classic

  • BACK FROM THE GRAVE

  • Umph!

  • Thanks for uploading this great track

  • is this the fred cole rats?

  • Do The Rat !

  • No information on this band. They sound like teenagers.

  • Music snobbery permeates this comment section.

  • I love that "Black Cat" record label!

  • why dont the play shit like this now

  • louie louie.

  • very cool i had never heard this until now.

  • so juvenile yet cutting edge

  • Pasan los años y este tema me sigue gustando como a primera vez que lo escuche en el Back from the grave.

  • yeah baby!! i want to climb down my sewer and blast this mother out ! the rats will be partying with me!

  • so snotty!!

  • so i think punk has found its creator..

  • @skroddumb i think that distinction belongs to the fabulous wailers.

  • OMG misery your ignorance is hilarious

  • @misery1965. Haha. Heard of the Beatles or maybe Bowie? rolling off the obviouse..

  • If I was alive in 1963...these are the guys I know I'd be hanging with :P

  • this must be the first punk ever. 1963 is really early

  • @misery1965

    Haha...

Wow.. somebody seriously needs to update you on your rock 'n' roll history buddy.

Haha. I almost thought you were kidding for a moment.

  • @Hawgboy66

erm, if i wanted input from some tone deaf imbecile, i'd have said so.

know more about the kinks and any''rock history' gleaned from black america that you care to mention, than you ever will.

    now..run along dickhead

  • @misery1965 What??? This is nothing like "All Day And All Of The Night." This is clearly the Louie Louie/Wild Thing/My Girl Sloopy riff. The Kinks riff is a completely different progression, and is way, WAY more original.

If anything, these guys stole THIS riff from someone else. I wouldn't go around calling other people "tone deaf" if you can't tell the difference between this riff and the Kinks'...

  • @putsomething This was from 1963, The Kink's song is from 1964. I untwisted your misinformation.

  • @Khultan I didn't say anything about the any Kinks' song being before this song, so I'm not sure why you're trying to correct me. Maybe you think when I said "if anything, these guys stole THIS riff from someone else" I meant they stole it from the Kinks? If that's the case, that's not what I said or meant. I meant if anyone stole anything, these guys probably stole this riff from "Louie Louie" which was first recorded in 1957.

  • @putsomething Then, please, pardon me for my hastiness...but the last part could be a moot point.

  • Is Steve Simmons still in the band
