I watched film"Departures"...it was a very impressive film.this version played by 39strings lyre is excellent.I enjoyed it...sounds like one of Finnish musical instruments"KANTELE".greeting from Finland.

I have Kantele, too. I believe Kantele and Lyre belong to the same ancient string instrument.

It's made of spruce and maple.
