Jet cars are so much cheaper and easier to run than top fuel, it almost makes it booring :P.

No engine changes

No clutches

No going through tires

No exploding blowers

No exploding... anything else

Those nitro engines are being pushed to the VERY EDGE of their structural abilities,

That J-85 is running well within it's happy design limits at full thrust with the afterburner.

yer i was in the beer tent when that thing started up,the tent was shaking like fcuk ,every started running so we followed, got on the strip and the sound was so fcking loud then it took off fck me that thing shot off like nothing iv seen,i was shaking for 10mins after with pure rush, if u want a kick i recommend u go see this car !

went there twice going on the weekend coming (two days away 23 july 2010) first time i never covered my ears.. never got told but second time i got the ear mufflers ready :D it's fun being there though

I saw this 3 times at the weekend for the July 5th 2010 Jap Show and was literaly blown away. I've never heard anything so loud in my life and this video does not do it any justice. You feel everything in your chest as it flies past. As for covering your ears, well lets just say you get the full effect if you dont.

Ok..... I have been meaning to comment for a loooong time about this car. LOVE the jet cars, but...... what is with the crew? Why can't they just step back and let the car do it's thing? I have been involved with jet cars for years and have never seen a crew so in the way. NOT necessary. Let the fans take video and pictures without you people in the way. Seriously.
