ok, for those people who don't have a clue how music is made, here is the deal: in the studio they sing overlapping parts to harmonize, inject verses but when live, YOU CANNOT DO THAT, LOL. So they tape the chorus and sing the other verses live. If you don't believe me, try singing it yourself and you will find yourself out of breath and unable to sing all the parts (try it on Girl as an example). Ignorance is okay until you've been schooled.

He sings a 3-part harmony in the studio (he has a video where he matches up emotions/sounds) and of course he CANNOT do that live unless he becomes 3 persons. So he must play pre-recorded chorus if he wants to mimic the song close as he can and sing the verse live. Hopes this helps.

Bey's range is something like A2-E6 I think and Michelle's is A2 to G6 (yes that's whistle register up there). I know Bey can sing the low part, but because she is the "lead" singer she always/mostly sings the melody (which tends to be the middle or "alto" PART) and Michelle takes the low while Kelly takes the high.
