Death Note and Hell Girl are both works of fiction and may have their own each universes but these stories entail morals which supposedly emancipate viewers. The problem with audience is they are too caught up with the show instead of the morals. Maybe because how the show is aired? I don't really know, but Hell Girl is much more in touch of our universe in the aspect of heaven and hell.
