  • Yeah, Mr. Sabbag is my favorite teacher!

  • wow this video is so much easire to take notes on thanks Mr. Sabbag :DD

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS...I teach ESL students, whose reading comp is low. this video is perfect to supplement the reading they are doing right now.- this vid will help amazingly:)

  • I was watching this in the library and started giggling like a little girl at Dr. Washington. I look like a fool!

  • My teacher showed us this in Mr. Starr's class he acted that the Earth was the center of the universe lol.

  • HAI MR SABBAGE STUDENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • funny, she just added a complete new scripture in the Bible, theirs nowhere it says that

  • what software did you use to create the cartoon moniter guy?

  • what software did you use to create the cartoon moniter guy?

  • A very good lecture

  • Yay! I liked it :)

It was cool how it was notes and video and how they set out the important parts of the notes so we didn't waste time. I wasn't bored!

But was it supposed to go silent after 8:00 & copernicus? that kinda bothered me. :(

woo! way to choose some good homework mr. sabbag! A+ for you!

  • ha, this was actually good.

  • O.o

we should do this more often, mr. sabbag!

  • @dkkoover hahah ur his last years student!

  • sweet

  • haha this is great :) Bruno wasn't mentioned in our class, so i learned something new today!

  • great vid, love the combination of fun and learning

  • I like how it's not just notes, which were short and precise, but also video clips, and the man with the large head and his sarcastic-like humor in his square also made the video enjoyable. On a random note, I remember the Inquisition's method of torture of slinging your tied wrists up high from a movie.

  • who else goes to paly and has to do this?

    ?

  • me

    i do

    u have sabbag

  • bloom but there the same

  • yah

  • THANKYOU!!

  • Good work!

  • yeah right but the presentation is nice can you do that? there is a war but not literally a war that uses weapon, its a war of reason

  • This is a whiggish distortion - the term scientist did not exist at this time - all the natural philosophers where religious and their discoveries where to strengthen their faith i.e. there was no 'warfare' between science and religion just a slow progression. Copernicus was a Catholic Priest.

  • And Galileo himself had trained to be a Catholic monk. I wouldn't deny that. To say there was a slow progression, however, is simply naive. It was a battle for influence. I do not argue that the church disagreed with the findings of the philosophers at the time (which, yes, even Galileo was considered) but it is clear to me that the church had no interest in allowing these new findings to further undermine their teachings.

  • I like this vid. Learning the revolution from you is more entertaining than sitting in a class having the teacher tell it to you in monotone. ^-^

  • from 5.50 what vedio is that i need it for a project ? plz help

  • It is Man, Moment, Machine: Galileo and the Sinful Spyglass.

  • we just got ordered to watch this for history class. ._.
