If you bought it in november and after, it is very lilely to be the new model.

Otherwise, something must be written on your linear actuator.

Something with this scheme : "a number/a number/letter X/a number.

With the 2 first numbers : if it is superior to 33, you have the new linear actuator.

I had problems with the M motor for lifting the whole arm. There was too much friction, did yours have problems lifting too?

It is a liitle hard to raise the whole arm in 2 situations :

- if you use rechargeable batteries, you don't have 9V but only 7,2V.

- if the arm is fully extended, more torque is necesary to raise the arm. So, it is more difficult for the M motor to raise the whole arm.

In other situations, it works quite well. :)

@setechnic But even with the 2 most outer actuators at full range, the M motor in my model can't lift the whole thing, it simply stalls unless i help it on the way

This is just a great looking set. I read your review (at least, Google's attempts at translating it) and I honestly can't wait for it. I've wanted such a set since I was a kid so it's a day one purchase for me.

I can't understand why it's not coming out 'till late summer though, the rest of the summer sets are almost out already -.-
