Great job. Where in the world did you find a background track for this obscure song? I have never heard it in English before. The only version that I have ever heard was in German when I was just a kid.

Hi Terry. The English version of this song was sung by Petula Clark. Sadly, I lost the backing track when my last PC packed in and have'nt found it again. This is an EXCELLENT song and I really enjoy the way you sang it Jan. I remember listening to the original version of this song in German by a lady named Lolita. It was very big here in the States back in 1960.

For anyone interested, Petula Clark did 2 versions of this song. She did it in English and in French. All are on Youtube.
