  • Not to slight F1 now, but everything about these V10 cars was just so awesome.

  • I don't understand why people compare senna and Schumacher... The technology is completely different now. Senna had a shifter, not f1 shifters... If they were to race the same carts who would be superior? Neither is the answer, one would be strong at one track and the other at the next... There isn't that big of a gap at this stage of the game!

  • james allen is a cunt

  • the sound on max rpm is amazing!!!

  • i hate to hear that last sentence...

  • ferrari should drop massa for schumacher! him and alonso would make a great team. he'd do so much better if he was back in the team

  • @kyerodwell unfortunately I don't think we'll see him race for anyone but Mercedes. Half the reason he came back was because he wanted to race for mercedes because they brought him into racing, and he definitely wants to keep working with ross brawn. shame they can't give him a better car

  • F2004 - The best F1 ever crafted.

  • Shit that is fast

  • circuit record right there my friend

  • see you at 360p

  • When I saw "Michael Schumacher at his best" I thought I'd be seeing a video of him running other drivers off the road. That IS what he did best!!

  • @markko17 Fuck you.

  • @markko17 Catalunya 1996 Schumacher at hisbest :)

  • @markko17 and i thought it was going to be a video about him cheating and parking his car on the track^^

  • @markko17 No thats Senna.

  • @markko17 not as good as senna though.

  • fuk V10...i want V12 ferrari and the V12 Matra back

  • We seriously need the V10 back !!!!!!!!

The current engines are a joke compared to THAT!

And I dont want to think about the upcoming V6....

  • pure sex to your ears!! bring back V10!!!!

  • @TheBigENN, Yet they are dropping it to V6 turbos. But at least they got rid of the monstrosity that are blown diffusers. They sounded like they were sick when they went round corners.

  • @TheBigENN

Not with Bernie... He might have a heart attack

  • @TheBigENN Sex to my ears? Ouch, that would hurt.

  • @TheBigENN Bring back V12s and Turbos!

  • I was there and I only had one 'horn' for the weekend. Sadly, after that qualifying lap I just went apeshit and used it all up, because it was so unexpected! They were them good old days!

  • Is it just me , or did F1 cars go alot faster a few years ago?

  • @Janpeterkoek they had more torque, so more oversteer, but the current F1's have crazy downforce and brakes as well.

  • @Janpeterkoek '

Used to have 1500hp in qualifying and 1000hp in race.

  • @ohyeahbustedyeah Stop inflating the numbers. The cars in qualifying were 1100-1200BHP. Dyno results to show.

  • @f1dannn He said "wouldn't have gotten AS big"..

  • Well, it's very interesting to notice how Brundle gets more and more excited after seeing Schumi's final time.

  • The fastest car in the world is not the Bugatti Veyron SS, it's whatever car Schumacher is driving!

  • @geckoisgiko The Bugatti is or was the fastest ROAD CAR. There are faster cars out there, but they are not road legal so your comment is pointless.

  • Comment removed

  • @geckoisgiko I assumed that you must have been raised by an Amish family considering the stupidity of your comment. I simply corrected your wording and enlightened you to the fact that your comment was ridiculous. .

  • @TRAXXAS58 First of all, who said Amish people are stupid. Second, my comment was a joke not serious and finally, you are trying to sound like a smart stuck up prick over the internet. stop trying to start arguments on youtube and get laid. Thank you, have a nice day.

  • @geckoisgiko You are doing exactly what you are telling me not to do which is quite funny really.

I never said Amish people are stupid, I said your comment was stupid. Amish do not know about cars & stuff because of their lack of internet/tv it would be hard to find out anything, which is why it relates you to Amish, not knowing about cars.

I wasn't trying to start an argument, I simply corrected you, you have tried to start the argument by coming back & replying to me trying to sound smart.

  • Comment removed

  • @geckoisgiko You are the one that said talked about the Veyron SS in relation to being the fastest car in the world, not me. It was a terrible joke if it was one and I don't really car if you know more about cars THAN (you said then because you are illiterate apparently) me. I know that the Veyron SS is nowhere near the fastest car in the world but is/was the fastest road car in the world. I have said nothing incorrect, yet you have, so maybe shut up :)

  • great engine sounds.

  • love that beautiful car right here ^^

  • Listen to the crowd!!

  • these cars were amazing

  • LOL hahahahah JUST LOL epic

  • You don't think Ferrari would have "gotten as big"?

You must be either very young, or very naive.

  • @macka311

the phase with Michael Schumahcer was very special, also for Ferrari. Ferrari was big, also before Schumi, totally right, but he and the men, who come with him to Ferrari get ferrari back to the top ;-)

  • For the record, I have been following F1 since I was seven in 1978.

  • @Agnyaanamdhvamsakah mine since 2001, but I like F1 2004, the cars are f**king fast at that time!

2011 version is just boring with Vettel keep winning.

  • Berger and Alesi or Mansell and Rosberg are nonsense examples, there is no point comparing useless number twos driving for a useless team. Imagine putting Webber and Massa together at a useless team and then asserting they both had equal status, utterly doesn't matter when all these number twos achieved diddly squat in F1 compared to Schumacher. Both the quintessential no.2s driving for Ferrari did not want to face Schumacher in 96 so they ran away to Benetton, how is that Michael's fault?

  • Senna didn't what? Senna was favoured at nearly every team he drove for in F1, this is the guy that genuinely feared Byrne and did not want to race him. Dennis has always followed a policy of no.1-no.2 all the while denying it, while Ferrari have always been open about it, that's the only difference. And I say this as a man that was a fan of Senna for many years. At Ferrari everybody from Pironi to Alonso has enjoyed number one status, including Schumacher, tehre is no issue here.

  • I dont think Schumacher would have gotten as big if it wasn't for Ferrari, Jean Todt, and Ross Brown.

  • @burns985 Probably mean Ross the Red. Anyway, Ferrari were shit before Schumacher, they would have been shit without Schumacher. Brawn and Byrne would have followed MS wherever he went, and without these two Ferrari would have been- you guessed it, shit. Byrne wanted to leave F1 when MS left for Ferrari. Todt's a superlative manager of men but he ain't a one army army that could design the car, test it and drive every race single handedly.

  • @Agnyaanamdhvamsakah Non of the drivers EVER did have a support liek MS did. Count how many times Barrichello was going to win the races and he was ordered by a team to let MS win ? My friend ? Thas is fake success. For some of these things, i can not admire MS. Otherwise he's one of the greatest no doubt. History of F1 can not let me look only into the numbers ! But more on details.

  • @burns985 Spare me the bullshit. Every Ferrari number one has enjoyed preferential treatment, in fact every number one driver at every team has enjoyed this sort of treatment, Schumacher isn't the only one. You talk about 'Barrichello' moving over for MS but you seem to forget MS gifted him more race wins that same year, sometimes making it rather obvious. Maybe he shouldn't have and his win tally would've stood at 95 or something today.

  • @Agnyaanamdhvamsakah Senna didnt ? He didnt have this treatment, he was a rookie when he came on McLaren, and Prost was 1, and still Ron Denis (with all my respect to him) let them fight together? Mansell and Rosberg did the same ? Berger and Alesi did the same ? I think theres enough of examples. Ive been watching F1 since 80s thats why i can make these comparisons. And check facts.

  • @burns985 Every driver from Pironi (and even prior to that) to Alonso that has driven for Ferrari has enjoyed number one status in some form or another, fake success my ass. Forget the 'numbers', take a look at how big a threat Schumacher and Ferrari were from the moment MS stepped into the team. The man came close to wining the title 10 times in his 15 year career, maybe he should really have won all ten and that would've shut up the critics. :|

  • Auto Shift ?

  • @MSchuminator

    Paddle shift.

  • @childsca Ah ok. Thank man. Can't see changing gears.

  • 1:09 what the fuck is this??

  • @TheBeyMaster11 they introduced a roving camera in Hocenheim, pretty awesome!

  • Sumi is the best forever. He still can drive and can develope a car !!! In 2010 he was suffering with a shit, then he started to develope the car. In 2011 Behind Red-Bull, Mclaren and Ferrari( one step downer technically) his team became the first among the others I would say. We saw that he did not forget to drive, he had overtaken most times......Sumi-Jean-Ross forever ! Everybody who said that F1 become boring says that they want the golden Ferrari ages back!

  • @JawaRider1 schumacher we're alright but his brother we're much better juss look @ duh stats lol

  • i agree.

  • with a full tank... please...

  • @arthusthefirst Did you not hear Brundle? 'It would be surprising if ferrari end up on pole'

  • @arthusthefirst with an incredible ferrari :D

  • @stekhouse ....and with 1sec up on his teammate...

  • @arthusthefirst Why? It's boring and slow. It is not difficult. Only in terms of tire wear

  • he`s flying

  • Best driver ever.Hamilton sucks,Alonso sucks....

  • @MrMilan90 Alonso beat Schumi to the championship twice in a row, I'm not saying Schumi sucks, but Alonso's not a slouch...

  • looks like a videogame from 01:01 on... :D

  • schumi is...a stunner.no matter what they said, people can trash is man,but he's an amazing driver

  • @boss350a Yeah that is about right!!!!

  • "your up against it schumacher"

    Music to his ears

  • he is the best driver.... a senna is the god hehe

  • V 10

  • F1 is my religion and Schumi is my god

  • 1:13:306 TRACK RECORD THAT DAY.

    EARGASM.

  • I was there going ballistic when Montoya didnt make it:D

  • I don't think ferrari would have gotten as big if it wasn't for Michael Schumacher

  • @AntDX316 You could say that again. Without Schumacher the Ferrari fanbase would never have been as global and massive as it is today.

  • @Agnyaanamdhvamsakah agreed but lamborghini is also popular and they rnt in F1

  • @AntDX316 other way around buddy lol

  • @67Intrepid no, not other way around buddy lol he earned his championships with pure skill and focus

  • @AntDX316 They've always been big. His biggest accomplishment is bringing them back to dominance.

  • @francesthemutes well Michael Shumacher marketted Ferrari, imo.. the big things r "big" because of how it's marketted.. many things in the world that r big rn't so well known at all because their marketting team sucks or they just dont care to be known

  • @AntDX316 Skill requires no marketing. His leadership, commitment, drive and skill is what brought him and Ferrari to 5 straight World Championships.

  • @francesthemutes without marketting, skill would not be shown? worldwide? u dumbass

  • @AntDX316 Calm down and learn to spell properly. First off, I have no idea what you're trying to say. I'm just countering your statement that Ferrari is big in F1 because Michael Schumacher marketed them. That is incorrect as Ferrari need no marketing. They *are* F1. Michael also needs no marketing; his skill in all areas shows this.

  • @AntDX316 lol, do you know anything about Ferrari?

  • The F2004 is one of the best racing cars of all time and also perhaps one of the best looking as well.... And the sound of that V10 cranking over 900 bhp....

  • I want to watch a real F1 now with DRS and KERS is stupid I want the old years

  • @rosen97Lewis true

  • @rosen97Lewis yeah, todays F1 sucks.

  • 1:51 - flag with Werder Bremen logo on it!!!!!!!!

  • he is really a talented driver..i hope michael wins another 2 or 3 championship and then retire for good..

  • yes shumacher had a superior car but he didnt just sit there,, he drove the ferrari 2 its limits people forget that he drove Benetton car and won his 2 championships by sheer talent

  • Yeah I would agree in those saying that the williams was the fastest car in 2003, but their form was inconsistent which lost them both championships. I would of said the benetton in 1995 was as fast if not slightly faster than the williams.

  • @MattMK45 :) I don't know about 2003, but in 1995 it was clear to the F1 paddock that Williams was easily the fastest car. It was Williams era, 1992-1997, but they had incapable drivers to win every year (excluding chaotic 1994). Had Damon had skill he should have won in 1995. That's why he was so criticized.

  • @MySubtleMind Ah I see, yeah I must of got confused with 1994 and 1995.

  • @MySubtleMind If Williams had incapable drivers then they wouldn't have won the driver's titles in '92, '93, '96 and '97. And Hill would have won it in '94 if it wasn't for the fact Schumacher and Hill crashed at Adelaide.

  • @blainyrules And what did I wrote? Read again :) Of course, both drivers in 95 were incapable. I mentioned Hill because he was thought to be better than the other driver (experiences etc.).

  • I bet he misses riding that car so badly "=)

  • @Mcyoussef doesnt he have his own f2004?

  • woooohooooo!! FIA pls!..we want to hear this kind of sound from the f1 car!!!!

  • My favourite f1 car ever. They just don't make 'em like this no more.

  • give him a good car and team!!!!! he will still show his true form!!!

  • BRING V10 BACK!!!

  • D. HILL

  • SENNA.

  • People are entitled to their opinions. Some people will always believe that some champions were faster than others etc etc. Some will say that with a better car such and such would have won more. This is why we have statistics. Schumi is the best. Some people have absolutely no idea how tough it is at the top. Its tough at 42 to slot straight back into the front. The fact he isn't at the back of the grid consistently is good enough for me.

  • F2004 is the best F1 car.

  • @NottinghamForest22 Really did u know something about F1? Everybody knows that F14B was the better F1 car of the history, that's way FIA keep away any technology and driver's assist and that's way Senna went to Williams in 1994.

  • @nightwolfclips Does the F14B hold the majority of lap records to this date? Are its qualy times up to scratch with todays ones, as the F2004's is (despite carrying race fuel onboard in qualy)?

  • @nightwolfclips That's false. The F2004 ist much faster than the old F14B and also much safer. It's the fastest F1 Car of all times and the 2004 Ferrari V10(920HP) has a lot more Power than the 1993 Renault V10(750HP). It won more races, too. In 1994 the FIA stops the electronic because it was to expensive and made driving to easy for the drivers and only drivers with electronic cars had the chance to win a race. That wasn't enough.

  • @NottinghamForest22 Gotta go with the McLaren MP4/4 on that one...

  • @NottinghamForest22 Its the fastest F1 car ever but in terms of the best F1 car you have to look at success. The 1988 McLaren is the best F1 car as it won all but one race that season and the one it didnt win was because Senna was taken out by a backmarker. F2004 definately the fastest but not the best, if that makes sense

  • @DarudeF1 yeah true

  • @DarudeF1

    Coludnt agree more!! :)

  • @NottinghamForest22 imagine with the slicks...

  • @NottinghamForest22 The F2002 was more dominant. Overall I think. But the F2004 was also gorgeous in my view.

  • @NickAW1 Completely agree. The F2002 was so much more advanced than anything else.

  • Every generation thinks the racers of their time had the real talent and the whipper-snappers of today are spoiled brats who just sit in the car while it drives itself.

I'm sure the people from before GV's time think he had no real talent compared to the racers of their times.

  • The crowd! Goosebumps...

  • everyone say senna is the best because he died at his best. the story could be different if michael die in 2004, everyone will praise that schumacher is the best

seems some people made rule like this --> "racer who died at his/her best is the best of all time"

and people doesnt take a look on struggling character like prost, mansell, and schumacher which they dont die on their golden era

  • Ayrton Senna is the greatest driver of all-time, no question.

  • @jguerrerofrescotti ur just jelly

  • @tommybellingham: I did say that this was my personal opinion about Villeneuve. The guy drove for Ferrari when they were being outclassed by Williams and Brabham. The point I was trying to make was too many folk bleat on and on about Schumacher & Senna but have no idea who Fangio and Clark were. Senna even said that Clark was the greatest F1 driver ever!

  • @ThousandsoundsUK

I did see Gilles drive and while spectacular at times, he was bit wild. Though he was a great bad car driver, I would not rate him anywhere near Senna or Schumi. Didn't see Clark or Fangio but I understand that Fangio had the best car every year and as for Clark, most experts do pick him to be one of the best if not the best and i couldn't argue against them.

  • I wish people would give credit where it's due. And also stop trying to pick the best driver of all time because the conditions are constantly changing and they all go up and down with the various changes. Finally, it would be lovely if people would stop comparing everyone to Senna as if he were God. Senna had his faults as well.

  • once again...at gp canada 2011

he show us how great he is..

  • @maskmanyeah and spa 2011 long live schumacher

  • don't forget Monza 2011 the fight with hamilton over 24 Laps ;)

  • god, taking about winning the constructors championship in hockenheim, thank god the FIA did something!

  • FUCKIN hell the sound at 1:26 is fuckin brutal you can just feel the power.

  • what an atmosphere! the german gp will never be the same...

  • Bloody oath, those V10s sounded great.

  • this is when the cars were nervous, difficult to drive even With aids, and looked alive. The cars today have too much grip and are on rails.

  • Schumacher is not as confident as he use to be, once he wins a podium he will get victories and hopefully and championship title

  • Im brazilian and I don't like senna at all,i think Schumacher has always been the best driver. He isn't doing very well now,but he does not have to prove a fuc* to anybody he won 7 championships

  • I love how bak here the cars snaked and twitched and slid about. Look at them now they're too robotic

  • "Stadium Section"? Turns 8 to 13 are called "Motodrom"...

  • schumacer is still and will always be the BEST! look at button, he was in a rubbish car (Honda) and when he got in a good car (Brawn & Mercedes) he wins championships and races, this proves that ever racer needs a top car! obviously its about the driver, BUT you need a car. Schumacer = LEGEND!

  • @hazmatsystem88

Schumacher is 42 and miles past his prime. Schumacher won 4 of his titles in inferior cars, takes Ferrari who were completely in the doldrums with a terrible car in 96 and wins 3 races. Sorry but you are a twat if you think 91 GP victories are all down to the car.

  • @MacHoodio ofc he's austrialian , they all are senna asslickers :)

  • @MacHoodio erm, He won all his championships in decent cars, shut up

  • @MegaMrDamo

Did i say they werent "decent"? i just said they weren't necessairly the best. Don't tell me to shut up you clown.

  • @MacHoodio Thing is though the talent and competition in todays field greatly out weighs that of when Schumacher was winning in inferior cars. Teams and driver philosophies have changed since the dominant Schumacher era and more teams know how to win. I'm one of those hopeful ones that believe that if Merceds can get to within 1-2 tenths of the leading car and not 7-8 tenths off like they are now then I believe that the Schumi talent will get the inferior Merc package in the winners column.

  • @MacHoodio but without Michael ferrari couldnt buy these cars, Schumacher developed them

  • @MacHoodio

Which four were in crap cars?

  • @PulletSurprise

I never said crap.. just not the very best on the grid.

    1994,1995, 2000, 2003

  • @MacHoodio

"Terrible" sounds pretty crap to me.

1994 and 1995 The Bene was on the level with WIlliams. In 2000 Ferrari started off the year faster than McLaren, who found themselves with another run of cantankerous Merc engines. In 2003 he had a car that could actually finish race distances.

  • @MacHoodio errrrm he had the bets car for every title...

  • @l0dgey

Erm, no he didn't. The Williams was siginificantly better than the Benetton in 94 and 95. Check where Schumachers teamates were, they could barely get in the top 10 with those cars. 2003 Williams was clearly the best but just made a total mess of it, 2000 Mclaren was definetely faster but perhaps more unreliable.

  • @MacHoodio I think shumi would win races if the rules suited his driving style

  • @MacHoodio this actually shows how stupid u are.... when his car was inferior, it wasn't that inferior compared to a Red Bull car that is like 4 seconds better than the mercedes.... !

  • @MacHoodio this actually shows how stupid u are.... when his car was inferior, it wasn't that inferior compared to a Red Bull car that is like 4 seconds better than the mercedes.... ! There's no way in hell he can get to that.... and for ur information, when his performance was compared to others at the corners, it was shown that he was the fastest driver, even faster than Vettel. So the only issue is in the car in the straight lines !

  • @MacHoodio couldn't agree more mate. well said.

  • @MacHoodio Those were thee good old days when the drivers won instead of the teams, huh?

  • @hazmatsystem88 And who made his cars that good?

  • @hazmatsystem88 yeah....wen Schumi joined Ferrari ...the team was rubbish....the truth is what Ferrari is today is all because of Schumi...

  • @hazmatsystem88 schumacher is not a symphathetic man. but he is certainly the best driver ever

  • @hazmatsystem88

Senna's cars: In 1984, the Toleman was awful. But the Lotus was above average, it is ofter rated as among the best. The Mclaren in 1988 - 1991 was CLEARLY the best. The 1992 Mclaren was bad and as you can see, the season was very disappointing for him. 1993 started out bad for Mclaren, but in the end of the season when they had fully developed their active suspension system, it was maybe as good as the Williams. I really like Senna, but you cleary are an idiot yourself.

  • @hazmatsystem88 Schumacher is getting on now, the younger drives have faster reactions than he does. Not helped by the fact that schumacher is the same as senna was, likes a car that is very twichy at the front since he used to have lightning reactions to correct the car, but the modern rule restricted cars just can not behave like cars used to when schumacher was king

  • @Angus513 You obviously don't know Michael Schumacher very well then

  • @hazmatsystem88 What about the bennetton and when he started out at ferrari. Those were average cars also schumi is 41 and missed three years, comes back in and faces new regulations, its all stacked against him. QUIT HATING!
