This is Gran Turismo 5, but apparently there will be a number of DLC packs for the game coming out in March-onwards. And Koenigsegg will be introduced to the game in those DLC.

@12345lans i can explain this and why there is no porsche. EA bought a license for both Porsche & Koenigsegg but its for them only so nobody else can use these cars without permission of EA. They were maybe scared that GT5 would top them (well its obvious they do). So they are Pretty much Assholes for not giving away these cars (except Forza 3 wich had some Porsches).

To the people asking below, this is nothing to do with GT5.

It's just made to match the spec of GT5, and even then the only thing it has in common is the poly count: where GT5 cars have an average of 200,000 polys.

GT5 won't look this good unfortunately, it's not a real-time render nor is it rendered on the PS3. :(

Its looks perfect.. amazing.. not real life but for a vid game i dont think thats going to matched for a long time.. apart from the low poly count 1:35 around the base of the shifter.. the only thing i can see that will be advanced on this model in a game would be nearly unnoticable.. in fact i think the overly perfect lighting is the only thing that will probs be advanced for many games to come.. amazing!

@xatrag This car is never coming to Forza 3 as it's predecessor and racing variants are already in it.

Gran Turismo was the original driving simulator and every one pushed the graphics to the limits of the system's capabilities. Playing both Forza 2 and 3 I can tell you right now that the car models have silly amateur-ish modeling errors all over the place, plus PS3 is more capable graphics- and physics-wise than Xbox 360. While Forza has some features I wish GT had, I still feel GT is superior.

@xatrag Plus if you count up the polygons and the number of lighting calculations required on each car in GT5 and Forza 3, you will find that a car in GT5 will far exceed the number of polys and light calcs that the same car in Forza 3 has. Forza 3 uses some sloppy pre-rendering for shadows on textures to make up for the XBox's lack of graphics power. Compare close-ups of each version of a car side by side…and there is no comparison; the GT5 version simply outclasses the Forza model.

This is not GT5.

This is a ray trace demo, it has nothing to do with PS3 in fact. I am unsure if PS4 would be able to do this real time... not that this is real time because that camera is not being controlled. But I can guarantee that my 8 thread, quad core i7 with 2x HD 8570 and 6GB with an SSD cannot do this.

It is however, an awe inspiring video!! The ray tracing quality on this is extreme!!

Lol This isn't GT5 graphics. Youtube Proper Graphics and you will find this Koenigsegg render isn't made by Polyphony Digital. The wireframe is the same as GT5, but the textures, reflections, and shadows were created on advanced 3D modeling software. It even says in the video description that this car was rendered by Proper Graphics not Polyphony.

If you actually knew computer graphics, you would know this was created with more detailed rasterization than the PS3 can handle. Cheers for the compliment on the video though lol... but honestly I don't think we will see this kind of ray tracing games even in the PS4, or even on rigged PCs for a quite few years yet. I am yet to be convinced by some of those PC uber geeks that claim this was actually rendered in real time, it just looks so advanced that part of me believes it is pre-rendered using those CAD cards like Pixar is.
