@trashmaster684 Yeah there's a ton of them everywhere I go. I noticed an Advanced Disposal Autocar WX / Heil FEL in Orlando the other day... hopefully I can find that truck soon.
very nice I LOVE these Heil FLs. We used to have one when i was a kid and man did i love seeing it once a year for christmas trees! now we use flat beds for trees since republic bought out Taonormina Ind (our former collecter) I am still mad at republic for that LOL there so chinsy now. The drivers of Taonormina used to take anything i set out. even manual rubbermaid bins. I miss the good days lol
@3amrepmike3 They use a flatbed??? Wow, that's gotta be boring to watch, too bad they don't have a rear loader or that old front loader or something... Makes me wonder how many trips that flatbed makes to unload the trees.
ya republic does that, WM does it, UPW does it. All christmas tree collection here is now boring. We used to have an old ribbed Heil FL when it was owned by Taornormina IND. They now rent out like 5 flat beds from Enterprise Rent A Truck to do each area. Republic has 6 cities they sevice here, and each city has a monday through friday collection, so theres like 30 rental trucks out.... BORING.
@wastemanagementsucks Yeah I was really disappointed - it kept going in all the wrong directions... maybe it will still be there the next time I'm in that area.
@FormerWMDriver i remeber the days of all there was here was dirty old bfi trucks when i was a kid they had everything waste management bought them out here
