Amazing. Do you sell the modded modules or just perform the mod? Sorry for my lack of understanding. I am getting ready to buy several preamps and effects but this made me stop in my tracks. I was going to go MTS but can't find the RM4 I think it is (the one that's just a preamp).
I love your mods, I am currently saving for a Randall Lynch Box. Just wanted to ask if the mods were universal to all Randall modular heads. Just making sure.
@aboveunow Thanks man. yup, universal but if someone had a combo or used a certain power tube or cab I'd probably voice the module a little differently. I have around a dozen 4x12 cabs and two RM100s and the RM4-RT2/50 rack setup, and two RM20s so I can voice the modules around what most people have, or pretty close.
@toxikfan6 I have a lot of nice amps - Mesa Mk III coliseum, Marshall Jubilee, '72 super lead, rackmount rectifier, etc... the Randall compares well with them IMHO. My biggest complaint about the RM100 is that the thing is so damned heavy!
hey, what's that module? the xtc module listed on the randall's website has a black faceplate and they don't talk about push/pull knobs for the tone shifting... anyway, nice EVH playing and beautifull tone! :)
New. Old one was like a stock xtc with more gain and less congested sounding... the new mod sounds more like a real xtc. I have a Bogner 101B that I used to voice these modules.
This looks and sounds like a Pete Turley mod? He has cool looking faceplates like these and does great gain and tonestack mods. He did my Brown module and it sounds awesome. But I guess there could be someone else out there that does the same thing though.

It starts life as a stock Randall XTC module, then I tweak it to sound more like my 2004 Bogner 101B. Thanks for the kind words!
