i know whats wrong mine did the same thing.all u have to do is 1.open drive.2 pop the wheel that spins the disc off"the one the disc sits on" underneath youll see coils wrapped in wire.3 clean the outside of every coil with sandpaper "sides only" then press wheel back on til it pops in place....and you have it..."enjoy"(NOTE WHEEL IS KINDA HARD TO GET OFF! YOU HAVE TO PULL UP ON BOTH SIDES KINDA HARD BECAUSE IT SNAPS DOWN)THEN MAKE SURE YOU HEAR IT SNAP BACK DOWN WHEN YOUR DONE!!

this si the exact same thing that happened to me. my h3 disk had a giant ass ring around it, preventing me from playin most of the maps. i cleaned it at family video, brought it back, and it does this. i tried 1 other game, and 1 movie and they both worked. i think it makes the noise, but only after i put it in. help?
that happens to mine to and there are videos here on youtube that show u how to open it and clean the disc drive but mine is a samsung drive and they only show you on hitachi drives

Microsoft doesnt send u the same system, they take your broken one and send u a refirbrished one or a new one, it takes 3 weeks because they take your broken one apart and see what is wrong with it before they send you another.
