Continuity errors:

When the dresser falls down on Bouvar, his hat falls off, in the next shot bond pulls the hat/wig off Bouvar's head.

At about 0:58, Bouvars shoe flies off, yet for the rest of the fight it's back on.

At the end when Bouvar falls through the table and grabs the (rubber) poker, the fire is burning, yet when Bond throttles Bouvar with the poker, there's no flames.

@joey20112 mid 60s tech. Back then in order to make things look violent and or real sometimes skips had to be made to edit out the showing of fakeness. So the skipping you saw was to prevent the showing of the fakeness that was being done.
