  • I love this song - and the whole album - great job!!!

  • For fuck sake man, I've just listened to it again... just pay attention to the drums+guitars. I don't know these guys but this song sounds a lot like Tool... except for the singer, who completely fucks up the song.

  • wtf dst doesnt sound like tool.....tool sounds like the original dst! pfft btw buddys my uncle gotta love fam

  • I agree with wolfgange63!!!

Unfortunately I've never seen Devon Graves in Italy (my country)

  • They even sound awesome on this cheap ass video! Ha Ha actually great job to the guys putting this together. Not bad for raw footage. Thanks for sharing. wish they would make it to Florida soon.

  • yep, that is Buddy,

I do prefer PW's (Aslan) music though,

they were way ahead of their time.

  • Buddy is Psychotic Waltz singer and he and Devon Graves sound very similar at times

  • uhhhhh you might want to scroll down a little bit lol

  • Tool? Are you serious?

  • ottimi su disco, ma dal vivo il vocalist è uno strazio...

  • Tool? DST doesn't sound like Tool..

Imo: ISIS is better than TOOL anyway...;-P

  • have you heard the newest DST album Lullaby for the Devil,I'm still trying to buy it on Itunes I get 30 sec soundbites and it's killing me I can tell it kiks ass as usuall

  • Buddy Lackey born in San Diego CA,(Vocals in Psycotic Waltz) - changed his name to Devon Graves moved to Vienna and formed Deadsoul Tribe...Absolutely one of the best voices around...He's a multi-talented musician; plays guitar, bass, keyboard, flute(!) He's also a very talented songwriter!

  • who's Buddy? the vocalist here is named Devon Graves (somethin like that)

  • Any Psychotic Waltz tunes still played?

  • Ahhhhgh! Check out the way they ROCK?! /m/ /m/

I saw them live too (in Greece) and was surprised just how heavy DST can sound, but please don't compare Devon Graves to Maynard, that's a mistake in my opinion. They are completely different and both are an inspiration to many.

  • not knowing all of Maynards works,I can only say after following Buddy from 1985 till now he has a lot of work out there you may want to hear before making a judgment. His solo album I think highlights his voice and it's remarkable.

keep on rock'in Buddy The eye in Lakeside

  • I second that. I was into PS since they were called Aslan and Buddy is certainly as individual and unique as Maynard.

  • okay, Maynard does it better... that is not a quiestion, but Tool and Deadsoul Tribe rules equally! :)

  • Why comparing the singers, just because the Chords of one song are a little similar. They´re both great singers, and overall great musicians. Everyone has his influences, but i dont think that DST need to be inspirend from another Band, and tough i really love tool, they´re not the answer to everything.

  • Sounds TOOLish :P No one does toolsoundalike music better than tool... and Maynard owns this guy hugely :P

  • @S1L3nCe

I just called the US office of patents and apparently Tool doesn't have any patent on the Dm scale. I find your ignorance surprising though since some of the most brilliant people I've ever met on the internet spell their usernames with numbers replacing letters.

  • @blakfloyd

If you can't see the resemblance they have with Tool good for you but don't insult me. Thanks.

PS: the numbers on my nickname have a long story behind it that you obviously won't care. Take care troll

  • @S1L3nCe

You come in here and talk smack about Maynard "owning" Devon/Buddy and then call me a troll? Good job kid. And yes you are ignorant if you think that just based on a riff involving a low open string with power chords from that open string's scal involving the minor 7th, octave, and minor 9th suddenly equals sounding like Tool. Check out Mastodon's Blood and Thunder, Dream Theater's The Great Debate and many others and then get back to me.

  • @blakfloyd

    Get a life.

  • @S1L3nCe

Since you apparently have so much going on in your life that you just had to pop in to get the last word but not bother defending your weak Tool-fanboy argument.

  • Dead Soul Tribe Rock!!! I saw them this year in Karlsruhe - If you got the chance to see them in Concert,...do it!!! The name of the Song is Spiders and Flies, btw!
