i actually enjoyed this film, i didnt think it was as good as scream 1 but i thought it was a lot better than scream 2, i never really enjoyed scream 2 because i never saw the point in it, i didnt feel like it contributed anything to the triology

I watched this on YouTube, and I though it was okay. Then I watched it again on ShoTime, and I liked it a lot better. I watched it a third time, and loved it.

WHY DID THEY KILL OFF TYSON FOX? HE WAS AWESOME! He was running down the stairs and Ghostface chases him and he's like, "Oh, oh! YOU MOTHERFUCKAH!" When the police were questioning Angelina Tyler because she took props from the movie, and he says, "Don't look at me, I didn't take shit!"

Also, learning everything about Maureen was sweet.

Kevin Williamson wrote 1&2 he was only credited for the characters in S3. someone else wrote the third installment, which is probably why it was the weakest in the series b/c of the different writer. So, hopefully since he's back on board this might be better but there is a limit when it comes to a horror franchise.

@AmateurFuturist I agree that that's why it's the weakest in the trilogy(or as we used to call it) but I do have an instinct that Kevin knows what he's doing. I'm not going to be pessimistic about someone that's written two of the most witty and suspensful films I've ever seen.

.....even if he does kill Sidney, Gale, and Dewey(and he will), which I will never forgive him for.

@RedVader29 I get what you're saying, though I don't think there really was anyone to kill. I don't know if I can watch any of the three die. It's a horror movie, we don't need to cry!

I thought Scream 3 was 1000 volts better than Scream 2. It has a more interesting and complicated plot and as you said..A resolution.

@keeponplaying To be fair, Scream 2 WAS supposed to have a resolution(everyone died in the orginial screenplay), but that didn't quite work out.

Meh, I pretty much really liked both Scream and Scream 2 on the same level. But I've probably seen Scream 10 times now, and I still enjoy the hell out of it.
