  • WOW! i was expecting a louder noise from the truck, but it;s pretty silent.!

  • is that a automatic? if so its gotta be boring to drive!

  • I've drove truck 50 years,hauled logs at 17 ,went highway,and everything else,I loved hauling logs,,,I am 74 ,,really miss it,if you havent done it,cant explane it,,,

  • overload

  • @james79ableify That isn't even a load for a CL-350.

  • @james79ableify LOL go back to your Ok Go music and Anime and leave the commenting to folks that know what they are talking about, son.

  • @james79ableify Thats an average load. Probably 100m3, maybe a bit over.

  • good man mack is best my dad usta drive a cl 700 feed mix truck

  • That brings back alot of memories...I worked at Eve River Division in the early 90's.

  • If you like this, be sure to watch my other videos!

  • omg that a nice truck

  • that is one hell of a nice truck

  • Most or rather alot of them have 1150CID Inline6 KT/KTA-Cummins diesel.

which had 3 factory power settings 450hp/1400tq 525hp/1500tq and 600hp/1600tq.

My father has M123 10ton Army 6x6 tractor with duel rear winches and front mounted winch, that truck has KT-Cummins and 13spd in it.

His KT-Cummins dynoed 635hp n 1675tq, with the 10.11:1 gears its able to tow 2 D11R Cat crawlers at the same time tho not very fast.

Trucks max speed empty is 56mph in 13th gear at 2150Rpm.

    AMX

  • actually most macks have mack engines. a few have CAT cummins or detroit here and there but most are mack. i know my father has 34 old macks from 1946 to today and of course some are restored and not in use:/

  • @HURSTSSAMX is the truck a kaiser

  • @brian93ist

No the 10Ton's M125/M123 are Mack's rather the M125 100% Mack truck and the M123 is a Consolidated Diesel with mack running the M-125 10 ton cargo was powered with Leroi 844 V-8 Gasser and the M123 was powered with the V-785 Cummins diesel . . .

  • "fill it til its full"

  • Damn! thats a heavy load! thats one helluva work horse. What do they have for power?

  • I think a 600 hp Cummins. Not sure though. One has a 12V71TT, and I think another had a Mack engine.

  • Why do most diesel engines only get their horsepower advertised, when the torque they make is whats important?

  • Good question, and one that I have asked many times! Never have gotten a real answer..........

  • Ya me niether...It really pisses me off! I see it on tv alot. some fools are talking about a huge truck and say is got a 300hp Cummins in it. Im always thinking "ya forget the 1450ft-ib of torque it makes buddy?" ow well.

  • @jusportel Yes,Torque is where it's at.A straight six has much more torque than a v-8.The definition of Torque as told to me by an old Diesel Mech is this:If you wake up in the morning with a piss hardon, when you push down on it,your heels come up in the air.Sounded good to me.It may not be right, but it's close,an funny.

  • cool truck

  • Awesome truck 5*!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey thanks for sharing, I appreciate it! Ive never see a Mack Cl-350 before, awesome! Must be worth good money if only 50 were produced.

  • nice truck I remember seeing that outside Campbell River way back when. Even still, it is a horribly ugly Mack, just what a Mack should be. Is it a Mack transmission and engine in it? Just the Maxidyne transmissions on the street trucks were 12' long and 3400 lbs it seemed. And parts you would have to remortage a house to go and buy. hey- new videos are up over on my channel eh

  • These trucks had the same Allison as the HDX, but cable shift instead of air. Caused lots of problems. The Menzies Bay shop rebuilt them from the ground up, there isn't much left of the original Mack now. Notice the new cab? I understand that only about 50 of these trucks were built.

  • yeah I knew they were rare. Doesnt Husby have these? I see them in Truck Logger. Isnt Husby near you guys? There was one of these with a rock box on it from ELKHORN, a now folded roadbuilding company from Courtenay that worked for Interfor in Security Bay. I remember sitting it the bleachers at the Surrey RB sale watch it sell for $18,000 5 years or so ago. It was a mack just like the one in this video. It was white and blue

  • Husby had, and I guess has, quite a few. This truck has a Challenger cab.

  • Husbyland is just a few miles from me, but they might as well be in Alaska, because you can only fly there.

  • wheres their camp?

  • Eden Lake

  • Ive heard of that. wow and theres no road connecting eh? everything is a barge show. Ive been to their office in delta lots. its next door to Pacific Tractor or River Road. whats Dave Husby like to work for?

  • No idea. Heard he's shady.
