i heard that if they make #5 it would be a remake of the 1st. if you pay very close attention and read between the lines of the 4 films you will see that they are a complete story. there is no more after 4. its kind of like a loop. part 1 begins where part 4 ends.

This is a very cool series, I've watched 1 to 4 and love all of them. I'm looking forward for Phantasm V. Thanks to the Director Don Coscarelli for making Phantasm V available to us fan.

After atttending a screening of Phantasm. When Angus took the stage, he did mention Phantasm 5. He kept details hush hush.  IMDB does have the goods on it. I have a feeling we will finally see Reg kick The Tall Man to the ground, for the last time. Cross your fingers. Plus Angus isn't getting younger...

In 2003, I rented all 4 of the Phantasm movies, watched them all in a row. In 2004 or 2005 Reggie Bannister was interviewed about "Phantasm's End". But no green light. Now 2007, we finally have something concrete from Director Don Coscarelli. I say, Yes! Make Phantasm V and make it the best damn film ever. Bring back all the orignal cast including Angus Scrimm too and James Le Gros too. Yes. let's see those flying spiked balls again.

Ohh, looking forward to V. I just saw the whole 1.2.3.4 pack the recent weeks for the first time, and they rocked. Angus Scrimm is a genious actor, the Tall Man and his spheres = COOL. Also the sequelstory ties together very good. Nice to see the same actors, but only getting older. Thats very rare for these kind of movies. And the original cast is going back for V. Incredible!
