  • viva francia!!!! los amo

  • MINITEL ROSE passe au REX Club le 13 avril prochain avec un live de JUPITER et un DJ Set de Bot'ox :D

    A bon entendeur!

  • Could this song get any better?

  • Anybody know the lyrics to this awesome song ?

  • You're running running running for money

You're running running running with all of us

You're running running running with the best

You're running running running with a fake body

The man running after you, you know it isn't human

The man running after you is called a business woman!

  • @sendai78 I think it says morning not money

  • @choocken Doesn't make sense in the context of the song, which is about competition in the business world, IMO. Also, "you're running running running for morning" doesn't make sense as a sentence. Finally, "money" rhymes with "body", the last word of the fourth sentence. The only part that was hard to understand for me (and that I'm not sure about) is the second sentence: "You're running running running with all of us".

  • @Jeffko78 I do not agree. I dont understand how you got that this song is about competition in the business world. Its seems that youve just read the title and formed an opinion. Also if we're going to take everything literally than "running for money" wouldnt make sense unless the song was about an athlete. It's obviously a metaphore. First of all im not convinced that it says "fake body" as the last line and secondly, who says the last line is supposed to rhyme with the first?

  • @choocken What's your interpretation then, since mine is so obviously wrong? This song is about competition in the business world, and specifically about how aggressive women have to become in order to compete. "Running for money": working non-stop, staying on top of everything for the almighty buck. "Running with the best": women working in a "sink or swim" environment. "Running with a fake body": sometimes they use plastic surgery to help business advancement. Post your own lyrics, then.

  • @Jeffko78 Also if that last lyric is "fake body" then I very much doubt its speaking that literally. Its n=more likely talking about how different the business persona is compared to the relaxed self.

  • @choocken As for the lines rhyming, nobody says it has to be so, but since this is a song, it wouldn't be surprising if there was rhyming.

  • @Jeffko78 That is entirely YOUR understanding of the song and YOUR understanding of the lyrics. All im saying is that you said it was about competition in the business world like it was fact. I cant understand the verses or the chorus so I have no interpretation of the lyrics. Thank you captain obvious for pointing out that songs have rhyming words. What i meant was that why does the last line have to rhyme with the first, as traditionally the last line rhymes with the second line.

  • @choocken Sorry for being assertive in my interpretation of the song, but since you admit you can't understand the lyrics and therefore can't form an interpretation of your own, how can you say my interpretation is wrong, genius? What, people can't say their interpretation is the correct one anymore, Mr. Music Police? Why does the last line have to rhyme with the first? Well, why not? Not every song has to follow "traditional" rhyming.

  • @Jeffko78 Do you understand the versus? Without those there is no way you can form an actual interpretation of the song. Anything else is guess work. And im not saying its wrong im merely saying that it has no merit. There was never a point in time where people could say their interpretation is correct BECAUSE ITS AN INTERPRETATION! Do you even understand that word? You're just assuming the last line rhymes with the first, so that point has now been debunked.

  • @choocken I get that you're pissed that I feel certain of the song's meaning. As I'm not the artist who actually created this song, you may have a point. However, are you saying that an observer's interpretation of a given song has NEVER matched the artist's true message? If so, that's just about as arrogant as you feel I'm being right now. And then you say my point has been debunked... YOU are the one that is "not convinced" it rhymes, yet provide no alternatives. No evidence = no debunking.

  • @Jeffko78 Honestly i cant tell whether your being serious or whether your purposefully not understanding what Im saying... Im not saying it has never been matched, simpley that an interpretation is just that, an interpretation. There is no right or wrong with interpretations so there can be no correct interpretation. Your point was debunked. The fact that i provide no alternatives is irrelevant. Just because you feel that the first and last line SHOULD rhyme, doesnt mean they do.

  • @choocken The first definition of "interpret" is to "give or provide the meaning of something". When someone creates something, he gives it meaning. Perhaps you feel that even the meaning an artist's gives his own work is in itself not correct or incorrect. If so, then we'll agree to disagree. I believe that when the meaning one applies matches the artist's initial meaning, then that meaning is "correct". I can see that "correct" and "right" don't sit well with you. Nothing I can do about that.

  • @choocken Oh and yes, I do understand the lyrics, save for the last part of the second verse "with all of us", as I've already mentioned. This part is slightly muddled. However, the fact that I understand the rest of the song is the reason I'm so confident that my interpretation is the song's actual meaning. Unless you manage to post your own version of the lyrics and explain them, then I'm afraid you don't have a leg to stand on.

  • @Jeffko78 Oh then please post your lyrics here. I would love to read them.

  • @choocken I've already posted them six months ago. In fact, your first message to me was in reply to these lyrics. Also, I never said that the first and last line SHOULD match. Stop putting words in my mouth. I was saying that they DO match, based on the lyrics spoken in the song. You entire argument against me on that point is that you don't believe they rhyme, yet you claim you don't understand the lyrics, so it's your opinion against the lyrics I posted after hearing them in the song.

  • @Jeffko78 Honestly I cant hear most of your lyrics when I listen to the some. Especially that 5th line. Its not like my idea that they dont rhyme came out of nowhere. Back to the first 7 word comment I made, I believe it says morning not money At that point you started regurgitation your nonsense over the internet. Its really amazing that your final comment is the comment that ive been making this whole time. I have been making that point in literally every comment.

  • Comment removed

  • @choocken *sigh* Wow... Alrighty then, let's start over, shall we? You believe it's "morning", not "money", so the first line would be "You're running running running for morning", is that correct? What would your interpretation, which is neither correct or incorrect, be of that opening verse?

  • @Jeffko78 Well at least your learning something. "Running for morning", being a metaphore (if you can understand metaphores), could mean any number of things. My best guess would be that the person is constantly waiting for the next day to come because theyre not enjoying the present.

  • @choocken Dude, I tried to be the better person here by moving on from something you're clearly not getting, but thanks for being condescending. If I've learned anything here is that I should be less assertive when explaining the lyrics of a song, lest someone get their panties in a twist despite their total lack of understanding of said lyrics. How can you disagree with something you claim to not understand? Lastly, not everything has to be a metaphor. Sometimes and orange is an orange.

  • @Jeffko78 Tried to be the better person? You previous comment was clearly an attempt at mocking me. Either that or you're actually that much or an arse that it just came out naturally. "Running for money", if it was the lyric, would be a metaphore!! And the point i was making before was that just because you might understand what the singer is saying, doesnt mean you know what they're talking about.

  • @choocken Very well, I apologize if my comment came off as mocking, as that was not my intent. Perhaps you were not actively trying to be condescending either, but that is the problem with the Internet, as body language and tone cannot be taken into account. I know what a metaphor is (no "e" at the end, btw, just saying) and I'll meet you halfway in that the running part would be the metaphoric element. In the end, we both enjoy the song, and that is what really matters.

  • @choocken I would also like to express my appreciation that this thread did not devolve into the obscenity-riddled shouting match that characterizes so many YouTube comments. We disagreed, yet we managed to say what we needed to say in a reasonably civil tone. Funny how that can become such a rarity sometimes. Take care.

  • @Jeffko78 Haha holy crap all these years I've been spelling it worng =S. Thanks for the correction! And I was being purposefully condenscending but purely in response, so for that I also apologise. The internets a crazy place. Farewell!

Also I feel sorry for anyone who ends up reading though these haha

    5 stars ;)

  • just danceeee ee___!

  • 5*****!
