crockpots are great, i spend say 10 minutes putting some things in the pot. normally packaged frozen vegies. i can get them cheap from a discount grocery place.

turn it on when i go to bed and when i wake up i can smell it cooking.

I wonder if you could use a chicken boullion cube in the water? Do you think that would be good? Or does the meat flavor it enough? It looks delicious!

Yes you can use a boullion cube. This is one of our favorite meals to fix at our house. I use chicken flavor boullion(Knorr brand.)

A crockpot is a really good idea to use. I will have to get mine out and try it that way. I was reading tips the other day on how to save energy and they said a crockpot was one of the best ways to do that
