nahh i looked the other day on nash motorsports and the kit cost like 8k right? i was lookin into it but couldnt find a bimmer in my budget but my sister donated her 95 z28 camaro with a blown head gasket, i was like sweet im just gonna put the LS1 in that. The next day she go buys a 323i :/ wtf thats the car i needed lol.

Not even close to the rev limiter i bet he was only at 5rpm goes to 7 1/2 he was just peddling it like bcas22 said and yes they make a kit for the ls1 its i think 15k to 25k comes with ever thing you need

I have both a e36 m3, and a corvette with the ls1 motor in it, He was bouncing off rev limiter.

With that kind of weight distro, you only need about 3 or 4k to really fry the tires...

Nice car though, I haven't driven a ls1 e36 yet.
