  • Stupid lady! What i think would be so much safer would be if they had a metal fence right on the edge of the platform and once the train came into the stop, gates on the fence would open. I think that would pretty much eliminate that risk

  • that man is a saint

  • The train emergency brakes are very powerful indeed...

  • God is really good..i hope that woman change her life since she gave a second chance to live..God bless her..

  • Man this girl just makes me sad. She was drunk ok I get it... But why the hell is she in a train station?!?! that's the part that makes no sense what so ever. If she's drunk then she should go HOME not go to a train station and fall onto the tracks. If it weren't for the old man at 0:17 she would have died. Even if she died it would have taught her a lesson.

  • Stupid cunt doesn't know that the third rail is electrified. Why would she touch it?!?!?! Even IF she were drunk!!! Common sense!!!! That much amperage could possibly kill you.

  • A security camera captured this

  • I am more upset that someone actually took the time to record this while her life was in danger & then the music with this video...

  • @Simplyshyindc yea but no... its a security camera, and even if it was someone, they must have really long and steady arms.

  • mhmm redsock fan to bad the train stop :(

  • she actually touched the third 3rd rail. Start at 0:11 and watch you can see a big spark at her foot.

  • she was on herion!!

  • Seriously. That's the orange line....going to Forest Hills!

She's lucky she didn't touch the 3rd rail and get electoructed.

  • @Mobee211 her foot touched the third rail

  • thats what i call a real bitch : D

  • 1 thing to add guys,

did you notice that the guy who was nearest to the train, though didn't jump down to risk the girl's life, that he actually risked his life, his head was so much bent down, and protruding into where the train passes, that if the train continued without stopping would have hit his head too. Thanks god it all went well at the end.

  • If they come out with a automatic fence that goes up from the edge and closes the way until there is a train with open doors waiting, then it goes down again. I know it may appear stupid and funny to some people, but really those trains come really fast when they arrive, and who knows it could happen that someone slips and falls down on the track. Especially the kids, the pregnant, the sick, the disabled, and the old. I don't care if it looks stupid to some, it's just safer.

  • whats with the music to this are u seeing this as a joke

  • @Naruto3050 I agree that the guy who chose that music is just an idiot,

that's so scary and not funny. I feel sorry for that girl.

    Too close.

  • I just can't understand why they add that sneery soundtrack to this kind of things. Are you stupid or what? How do you dare to say you wouldn't help the woman, fucking gang of cowards... Fuck you all. I hope someday it happens to you and no one as chicken as you are won't help you. Fuck you.

  • @ferorejudo Oh no, I don't want to risk my life for someone I don't know. Honestly, I wouldn't expect anyone to come help me if that happened, and either way, its not hard to climb up on a platform, and I wouldn't be enough of a dumbshit to stand close to the tracks, let alone while drunk.

Don't get cowardice mixed up with wanting to stay alive.

  • @ferorejudo The only way I would help someone in a situation like this is if it were someone I really cared for (relatives, friends, etc.) or if the person was a child. A full grown adult, on the other hand, who stupidly falls in ... I refuse to help a stranger like that by putting my life in danger when they were the dumb ones for getting too close to the edge.

  • @Sallyallie89 it so SIMPLE stand behind the yellow line cause you could trip and then fall by accident.

  • @DrSanto91 Exactly. Or maybe they need gates instead like the rides at theme parks. Unless you hop the gate, the gate will remain closed until the train comes to a full stop, then it opens up. I mean, there are a lot of dumb people in this world who could use a gate instead. Plenty of people can handle standing behind the line, but people like in the video ... that's another story haha.

  • @ferorejudo Also, the woman was drunk. It was stated in another video. I don't have any sympathy for someone who's drunk and does stupid things. I'm not risking my life for an idiot like that and I wouldn't expect anyone to risk their life for me if I were drunk either.

  • Dude... those pussies didnt have the stones to jump down there and save her.

  • @Kyre0 There was no time. All that would have assured (had the train not stopped in time) was two deaths.

  • @Kyre0 Why risk your life to save a foolish woman that you don't even know?

  • @Exterminatedultra

It's called human decency. You mean to tell me you would stand there and watch the woman get run over by the train? We all make mistakes in life, but this woman got a second chance, so we can only hope she takes it. But even if she doesn't at least we know we did the right thing.

  • @nycolea13 I wouldn't WATCH her. I also wouldn't jump into the tracks. Its good to help people out, but at the same time, I enjoy living as much as I bet that woman would've; The only difference is that I'm not the one sleeping on the tracks.

If I help her and die in the process, chances are, 2 people died. What does that help? This is my opinion but, I don't want to run the risk of dying for someone of no importance to me. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Life goes on.

  • @Exterminatedultra

I applaud you for being honest and saying you would be thinking of yourself.

Yes, life goes on. But you get to live with the thought "Was there something else I could have done" for the rest of your life. That woman was important to SOMEONE. And maybe this instance was all she needed to change her life for the better.

  • @nycolea13 Of course I'm stuck with the thought of "What if" but that comes with all decisions. Its a part of life; we all just deal with it differently. I should go ahead and throw in here, that I am a pussy and I enjoy living... a lot. I would never jump into some train tracks, but I'm sure some courageous fellows would. People are different. :p

But to contribute to the video (Which I have not done yet) She lived, cool. It was close. Maybe she'll control her alcohol intake a little.

  • @Kyre0 It would have bee ill advised to jump down to save her. Think of it as being the same as jumping into the lake to save a drowning person. The likelihood of you both dying is extremely high. Not to mention that that elderly man couldn't have picked up or otherwise coerced that woman into safety- she was totally FUBAR to the tenth degree.

  • Shit. I've only ridden the T sober, but I still get freaked out that I may fall off the edge of the yellow line onto the tracks someday. I usually stand at least 3 feet away from the edge until the train is right in front of me.

  • there should be a button you can press when shit like this happens so the train knows to stop cuz someone is on the tracks

  • very entertaining. Thank you.

  • She almost touched the 3rd rail and got electrocuted, did anyone else notice that?

  • she did touch the third rail but it was for a split second and her rubber soled shoes saved her. If she touched it for any longer, the 600 volts would have overcome the resistance of the rubber in her shoes and electrocuted her.

  • Aw man fuckin God bless her! Next time Im wasted, I won't challenge the yellow line... or take the friggen orange line drunk and alone for that matter! :)

  • probably a green line passenger too, im glad i take the orange everyday and not the B

  • it's safer than driving, unless you fall on the tracks and electrocute yourself :)

  • hey idiots saying this video is fake, instead of watching the video on youtube and thinking you can gauge whether or not its real, maybe you should, oh I dunno, use the internet to link the video to a reliable news source. Her name is Nancy Hardigan and it's most certainly real

p.s. I'm from Boston, and this is right in the train station, there's no way they could have staged it

  • yup, to forest hills, i go to school on that, come back on oak grove train

  • The motorman is a damned hero, as well as all the people trying to stop the train; they deserve better recognition for their actions.

  • Yankees Suck!

  • It's not fake, I am from Boston and it was on the news when it happened!

  • it seriously happened. go to myfoxboston(dot)com and search it up urself!

  • Drunken Doosh

  • dump ass girl so stupid

  • what an idiot

  • you're that stupid? Its been all over the news ffs...

  • it was on the news! and subways can most certainly stop that fast.

  • the old guy who tried to make her get up and let the driver notice what had happended is really heartwarming and a hero that never gave up.

it was only the woman but also that guy were almost touchy by the train, but he kept staying and announcing her. she should thank him.

  • she is lucky

  • The Train Driver is a HERO...

  • that was my cousin drivin the train

  • lol that mustve been hilarious AFTERWARDS but it wouldnt be so pretty if the train ran over the d-bag

  • i hope a train runs over your d-bag mother

  • cool it faggot..and im not fucked cuz that wasnt your cousin

  • yea it was u fuc fag

  • damn ...so close!

  • dats funny lol dat she drunk..but good she didnt get hit

  • since this near fatal accident the lady in the video has managed to get her life back on track

  • GROAN...

  • @gregthegooner Best pun of the year!

  • @gregthegooner

    ZINGGGG!

  • crazy drunk passangers

  • Damn, what happened to all passengers in metro? They have to wait for a stupid lady. why don't just roll over and done with it...

  • IRISH DRUNKS. HAHa gotta love her

  • thats a very offensive stereotype! >:O

  • Im Irish its not a st lmao.

  • ya it is >:O

  • While the woman was drunk and it was a miracle she wasn't hit I don't think the Benny Hill music was appropriate.

  • haha....... have to agree with you

  • lulz, the benny hill music made it funny as hell, she shouldn't have survived, stupid sloppy drunk should've been killed

  • So traumatise the driver why not hey? Just because the woman was stupid the music doesn't make it funny.

  • Three feet short of a Darwin Award.

  • Please stop making fun of drunk blondes. They are a key asset in my, and many other men's, lives. Long live drunk blondes!

  • let's all stop with making fun of drunk blondes. without drunk blondes many of us men would be very unappy. Long live drunk blondes!!!

  • lesson: don't drink n ride :P

  • the woman was stupid, but who had tried to make the video as something funny, is worst than stupid...

  • The train should have carried on, stupid drunk women!

  • She is so drunk, she is so lucky. This would have been tragic if she was hit. I'm glad she did not, because it turns out to be, so funny.

I love the Benny Hill music.

  • stupid retard drunk blonde

  • they arent having the third rail any more. a string above the train this is how it receive power

  • No, that would be the Blue Line with the above wire at certain parts (Green Line is all above wire of course).

  • She was even closer to touching the 3rd rail.

  • She did touch the third rail according to the statement she finally released. She narrowly escaped death twice. Once from the rail which luckily knocked unconscious in a position where she wasn't still making contact with it and once of course when the train just barely stopped in the nick of time.

  • ... no, she didn't. She has released no statement.

  • Yes she has released a statement. Being from Boston I have been following the coverage and not only has she released a statement, she released it two days ago. She said she was embarrassed and thankful for everyone who helped her. She said she had narrowly avoided death twice, once from the rail and once from the train.
