Excuse me mate but I'm a car nut owning many super cars over the past years. The tiptronic on the 997 is incredible and also boasts the best performance figures including acceleration ranging from 0-60 3.2 - 3.4 secs. The manual cannot achieve this. Fact of matter is that is car is probably the ultimate Supercar !
It doesn't get "beat" by a Z06, the numbers are nearly identical. Add in the Porsche's AWD, superior engineering, handling and comfort and it's not even a debate. Oversimplifying the comparison by boiling it down to cost alone is an insult to both cars.
