  • @texasknowhow the iPhone 4 isn't even 2 years old yet.

  • Hi, Great video but I had a question about the back of the Iphone Covers sold on SW-Box, whats the difference between when it says "Black inside" for the back covers and not black inside? Thanks

  • My iphone broke:( it just shatterd into a millon pieces thanx carrer point

  • Hello, Awesome video my friend! We have a iPhone 4 which is about 2.5 years old and the home button has stopped responding (no recent s/w upgrades) unless you press it very hard (I mean pretty dang hard). I feel we are going to do more damage to the phone if we continue this and it's hard for my daughter to do. Would I be able to fix the button (from a H/W perspective) by disassembling as you did and cleaning it? I know you were changing covers, etc... but just asking. Thanks, Clay

  • @Texasknowhow

Hi Clay, i will send you a personal message to help you,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • I dont have the guts to try this. Im just gonna make the back a different color :) this video helped a lot!!! Thank you :D

  • @nicknachos1

Hi, Thanks for your comment, i m glad you watched my video, to be honest a nice glass back cover will set your phone off nicely, good luck,

    Neill.

  • is this a risky procedure to begginers?

  • @RoostersSupporter100

Hi, i won't lie to you, there are always risks, but if you have some Mechanical ability then you should be fine, just take your time and be calm when you do it, when i made that video, it was the second time i had ever taken any phone apart so i believe most people can do it, but remember to give your self enough time, i hope this helps, and good luck,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • your iPhone was on during the beginning process when u were unscrewing the bottom of the iPhone .. nice job any way :)

  • @bubstervillage

Lol, really, hehehe, i made this video so long ago i can't remember, but thanks for noticing, this was the first tear down i have ever done,

    anyway thanks for your comment,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @sammus it did power back on. As he moves it around you can see apple on startup. He unlocks then locks it then just to show covers although I agree showing it working would be nice

  • @g2sizzle

Thanks for commenting, i should have shown it power on, silly really, anyway i can assure you the phone works fine, anyway thanks for watching,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

    Neill.

  • Nice video ! I'm looking to do the same to my ip4, can u tell me exactly what I need in the kit to do so. I have been looking on eBay and the kits vary from 10 to 40 pounds but I'm not sure if the cheaper ones include every thing I'll need.

  • @MarkbromIerski

Hi i will send you a personal message to your channel, with a link for everything you need,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • @THEDANNYHILLS

    Thanks for your comment,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Thats crazy how many things you have to take appart just to replace the screen, backplate, and button. But very nice video!

  • @PerplexityStudios

Hi, yeah there's a lot of work to do, it takes around 30mins if you take your time, it's not hard to do but the screws are so small that's why it takes so long, anyway thanks for watching and commenting,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • I don't normally take the time to comment on video's, but I really liked this video, you took your time to show and explain everything, just ordered a iphone 4 white OEM back cover from y'all today, looking foward to that, thanks for the great vid, nice accent btw haha.

  • @77gtfo

    i hope this helps,

    kind regards,

    Neill.

  • Great video however you never actually showed the phone power back on lol. don't want to be that nasty critic but powering back on would be the most crucial part of the whole process.

  • @Sammus422

Hi, yes sorry, that was one of my first videos i did, i have learnt a little bit more since then, and thanks for your comments, they are appreciated, i have sent a personal message with a better tear down that i did a while ago, i hope that will be of more help, and thanks again,

  • i wish the front was easier

  • @BULLDOGS476

Hi, lol yes it is a little tricky, but worth it, you can make your iphone any colour you like,

    thanks for your comments

    kind regards

    Neill.

  • i need help just replacing the home button. i bought a home button from sw-box, help me!

  • @iphone32009

Hi, ok so i show on the video how to change it, but if your still not sure, after you have removed the front LCD screen then unplug the home button, this will allow you to take the button off, peel of the ribbon cable, it is stuck to the back of the home button, then just stick it on the new button, then you can re-install the new button and put the phone back together, i hope this helps you, i have a new video, (iphone 4 teardown) that is better for teaching

    kind regards

    Neill.

  • Just Wondering, Now That Apple Offers The White iPhone, Are You Guys Gonna Offer OEM Parts For The White iPhone?

  • @StevenZwicker Sorry we are not sure about this now. If we have we will make a video about that immediately. You can subscribe our channel. Thanks for your comment.

  • Send me a pm maybe

  • If I send my iPhone 4 to u would you do it

  • @PhillxRKOx99 Sorry, we just sell the accessories. Thanks for your comment.

  • do you guys have the flash diffuser in the back plate?

  • @steven8934 Yes, we have this part. I will send you a message about the link of it. Thanks for your comment.

  • white looks like chinese clone shit

  • I think the panel dont work with heat - when the guy power on the iPhone, he push very hard to enter his pin (password).

  • @sNiffelstiC i dont think he was putting in a password, the phone was still turning on before he turned it to him, he was probably double checking it was in tight and didnt move around, or checking to see if it smudge easyily or getting rid of smudges, i only think he didnt put passcode in because he was pressing hard also on the top part of the screen, and not just the pin pad area. sw- box makes good productes, ive gotten several things before, im going to order white iphone4 parts too.

  • @TheiPhone4Geek maybe you can than post your experience :-) That would be nice ;-)

  • @sNiffelstiC i shall but i saw the transparent glass and i cant decide which is better looking -.-

  • question people! do i really need to buy a whold complete kit with the digitizer? if i just bought the front screen and back screen in white would it be ok or will u notice shit? trying to get around buying the digitizer and just getting the screen...way cheaper...let me know

  • @ceezy585 The white iPhone 4 Digitizer Touch Panel Screen and the LCD Display Screen are combined by machine, normal people are hard to do that, so the white screen we are selling is a set: iPhone 4 Digitizer Touch Panel Screen with LCD Display Screen. if you only buy the LCD screen or digitizer, it is very hard to install. Maybe you can consider buy the whole set, it is easier to install.

  • @ceezy585 Separating the two parts of the front panel is downright impossible, and buying both separate items will be just as expensive as buying the correct kit.

  • does the white front digitilizer use the same 640x960 "retina" display or does it use a 320x480 pixel display?

  • @StevenZwiicker The Digitizer is also 960x640 pixel resolution, but I am not sure whether it has retina display. It looks the same as the original one in my daily use, but I haven't tried to find out their difference. Thanks for your comment.

  • Hi regarding the white front digitizer is the screen completley centered leaving a even white gap either side if the screen as some ive looked at have been off centered? Also how long is the delivery to the uk (england)? Great video

  • @adamsbil1 Ye,s it fits perfect, and if you follow our video then you should have no problems but take your time, and you may need to buy a pack of screws in case you lose any of them. Thanks for your comments about our video.

  • thank you!!!from italy.

    nik

  • are you using a grounded screwdriver ? it looks like your trying to hide it

  • are you sure run screen after install white screen ??

    i do not see it

  • 1st view :)

  • @finbarh6 Thank you! welcome to our website to have a look~ : )
