As someone who grew up the generation after this time, and heard the Disturbed cover first. I honestly prefer this version. Disturbed's is great as an out lashing rock song, but that's all it is. Now that's token for rock music; but Genesis is actually conveying a message. Most rocker's are anti government in some form and I know undoubtedly Disturbed and its fanbase weren't reacting to storm clouds of today.

Disturbed's version has strength but lacks soul.

I to have aged..like 50 now and this was also one of my favorite songs way back when. After watching the video again after so may years, I have to agree with GiorginaGJ. Im not sure if its actual propaganda, but I do know that the video depicts one of our best presidents as a poster child for Alzhiemers.
