I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

Ive seen this car in action a few times. its all in the 7sec 1/4mile. it has done a 7.4 with the previous twin turbo setup but now it has to a massive single. It hit 1664hp on the dyno. Still has alot of potential!! Rotary all the way!!
first question: why? second question: why an m3 and not a 330ci or a 330 zhp if you were going to rip out the motor? and finally, hell yeah! haha fast as hell rotary!!!

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain
E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain
