    5/5*****

  • thanks, JONTEJOY!

  • I would have loved to seen your expression and or heard the first words out of your mouth when you realized which trailer was ummmmm "Broken"

  • So was that trailer loaded are empty? No fork lift around?

  • loaded. 46,000#. forklift only had a 3,000# load limit. thanks for watching!

  • wtf lol yea just put it up lol nice vid the lovely world of truck driving lol

  • thanks for the comment! Gary

  • Don't put your videos in people and blogs. do it under travel and events and you will get honors!

  • i never do that...i always forget.

  • nice vid, how long did it take them to pick it up,,,

  • only about 20 minutes. waited longer than that for the 2nd wrecker to show up. thanks for stopping by, Karl!

  • This didnt happen the other day when you were training the new guy? Did It??

    LOL...

  • LMFAO! I think it might have....

NOT...guess who I get to work with today? yuppers... GARY! I might have to get some good footage of him today! (friday)

  • i like how you bolted out the door when there was still work to be done.

you darn near knocked that driver over...

  • ha! no, this was a few days later. fortunately, i wasn't involved in this little fiasco. where u been? haven't seen you on here in awhile.

  • i ended up staying hooked to it and delivered the load today. once it was empty, we put oversized 'jack stands' under it, just behind my drive axles and used them for temporary landing gear, or "legs".

    great question, mr. Irreo!

  • That was a good f**kd up. But after this I wondered something... how did you unlock the trailer after that? I mean... do they have some kind of emergency "legs" or something like that?

  • Ouch I would hate to see the bill on 2 wreckers...I can't think of any other way...maybe jacks and blocks, but who wants to do that...I am too used to seeing the trucks we work with just suck on their trailers with a winch, the vans need the landing gear all the time

  • well,...this seems to give a whole new meaning to:

I have ah trailer i need you to "pick up".....and take to da shop,....lol

    5*

  • thats wat i was thinking LOL

  • lol! true. i like the way i was told it was "broken"...

    thanks for stopping by! Gary

  • I would of got a front end loader ,dug a hole under it and backed under it,good thinking on the wreckers Gary.

  • i'd love to take a front end loader to this yard. a truck went into one of the potholes a couple days ago and we still haven't found it...

    thanks, Grant!

  • Great Vid though id hate to run up on a broke trailer such as that one ....

  • used to do this all the time when i drove tow trucks.

    thanks for the comment! Gary

  • awesome.. how exciting!

(comming from someone who doesnt have to foot the repair bill)

Things like that are just what we need to make interesting and entertaining vids.

  • this was today, around 11:00. i'm still hooked to it because it's loaded and the shop doesn't have jack stands strong enuff to hold it up. load delivers at 4:00 tomorrow afternoon...it got worse.
