I love NAXOS and this is why: the label has a real enthusiasm for classical music delivered by fine (and often unknown) performers at a reasonable price. True Erich gave the WP of Wozzeck in 1925 and continued to conduct Berg's music...i can only assume that the rumour is based on more than the striking likeness of the two men (CK and AB)- -and the fact that it adds up in terms of dates. of course,Berg was also a notorious womaniser.
