I prefer this system than anything that use rotating turbines of any type...this more in tune with marine life. Keep up with the green work.

that dont look like its generating much like that. i figured it would be right before the waves break and be propellers or sumthin.

@einnor85r Your probably quite right. The maximum oscillating surge energy is just befor the wave breaks, meaning they would have to be located a bit before that to allow for tidal range and bad weather. I believe turbines are the best alternative as they would rotate quite slowly. The surge velocity would probably only range between 2 and 3 m/s. Check out "SECAT wave energy"
