astoundingly beautiful performance,transcends all clarinet music,and speaks a language of psyche,and profound depth.what messiaen must have gone thru,and to have performed this piece before nazi monsters,near death,hallucinations from starvation,he gave them this piece,and forgiveness!,so amazing,to hear this live,as i did,is staggering

I'm a pianist and know little about clarinet technique. That being said, I think this guy is a rock star! Great performance, communicated well and musicality and color were there as well!
