That's not supposed to be a cute thing.. It's a chins way of telling you to pretty much back off.. You should really do some research on how to care PROPERLY for an animal before you go and buy one.. I know that they are just to cute.. But they are very delicate animals that require the right kind of care (i.e. A CLEAN CAGE or SOME TOYS SO THEY DON'T GET BORED AND START FUR BITING!)... Oh yeah, and you could very easily break a rib picking it up like that.. Cup your hands to get it close to you

Thats not a bark.. thats a kack. Its their way of showing annoyance. So is running away but obviously u didnt get that hint either. Plus that stuffed animal could kill them when they chew it. You have no business owning a chinchilla.

maybe he doesnt like you touchin him coz ur holding him wrong?! fyi you should hold a chinchilla in cupped hands grabbing them around their middle can really hurt them!

That cage isn't meant for chinchilla.
chinchilla should have wood platforms they can die from eating plastic
