actually that allmost happened in

last chap of the manga.

he waited like for 3 a 4 years waiting for her, while sango and mir get twin kids allmost a third kid (they are like rabbits! >,>;) anyway. inuyasha acted the same like kikyou he pretty much continu fighting the bad youkai (with a very upgraded tessusaiga) and then meanwhile

By the pendant I assuming the one around inuyasha neck. She looks a little angry... I don't think angry is the right word, I guess she thinks he is.. stubborn... because when she first gave it to him he refused to wear it and told he it was stupid... that kind of thing.

pretty much they were angry at eachother when they were in a photo booth (which sota put money in without them knowing) so kagome made a pendant and told inuyasha to wear it always. and it's what allows him to move when kaguya freezes time because the pendant is from kagome's world. hope that helps.
