JOE AND EDDY DID A GREAT PERFORMANCE OF THIS SONG IN THE 1963 MGM MOVIE HOOTNANNY HOOT WHICH SHOWCASES SOME GREAT COUNTRY AND FOLK ACTS A MOVIE WORTH SEEING IF YOU GET THE CHANCE.
Joe & Eddie were always Electric,Lots of energy from Walkin down the line,Children Go and this one There is a meeting.Old Gospel and R&B together just some of the great songs Gene Norman gave us on G N P records!!
Anyone know where I can find the album Tear Down the Wallds? It is my favorite by these guys and mine was lost in a move. There version of My Favorite Things is the best I have ever heard
I was so fortunate to grow up with Joe and Eddie visiting our house frequently. They were in the choir in Berkeley with my parents. Incredible to see them again after all these years.
These guys are absolutely brilliant! My Dad had their greatest hits album which I lost sadly during a move back in '92. Thankfully they've re-released their stuff on CD. I don't know what possessed me to look them up on YouTube, but I'm glad I found these. I'd never seen any live performances by them until tonight.
They are without equal, I found them quite by chance, and must say they have impacted me more than any other act in musical history! It is my greatest wish that someone make a documentary about them, the most under appreciated folk group ever, hell , of any genre! Their music is so great no one can remain unmoved by it. I scoured the internet for any information about them and was moved to tears to find out Joe's untimely demise. Without a doubt one of the greatest tragedies in musical history.

My parents had this record when I was a child. Their beautiful music reached as far as us in Australia. Thankyou for the wonderful memories.
