@GpcHindy Constant chewing is a sign of boredom and anxiety. Your dog may not be getting enough exercise, or may need a job to while your gone. Simply guarding the house while your away is not an ideal job as doesn't stimulate the mind and channel excess energy. Taking longer walks, running, 30 min on a treadmill ( if you own one). You can also reclaim your shoes, by taking the shoes he chews, placing it on the floor a foot away from his face a stand or them not allowing him to touch them.

We own four German Shepards on our farm as livestock protection, and also companions during the winter when me and a co-worker sleep in a caravan guarding ready-to-sell turkeys: Four full grown German Shepard's do half take up the bed haha.

This looks to be a very useful tool that I will certainly check out, thanks for the video :)
