  • John Malkovich was the star of this movie for me.

  • @xesionprince Cause he has a point, now more then when this was made, accept from the killing the president part...either way, Malkovich, i take my hat off cause this is acting...fuck me...

  • It doesn't matter what he says..... he sounds unbelieveably sexy!! and yep Clint gives a really gay line!! (renezvous with my ass!)

  • Just say the film last night, great film.

  • John Malkovich's face at 1:20 is priceless!!!

  • I wonder how much Al Borland's brother got paid to play this role?? (lmaooo)

  • Click at 1:30

    Perfect kill shot.

  • I love that totally self-satisfied relaxed sniff he always has after pulling the trigger - the sign of a true marksman lol

  • espectacular !

  • "Why did you kill that bird, asshole?" classic

  • Why is it as time goes by - the more I can personally relate to Malkovich's character.

  • @xesionprince

I better tell the FBI to keep an eye on you

  • I'm gonna do a hitler phones with this.

  • Malkovich is the master

  • immortal technique

  • elprez!

  • El prez sent me!!

  • unforgetable performance by jhon malkovich

  • 1:20 - That face is priceless!!

  • Is that Al Borland's brother?? lol

  • Every word he says is like pure art.

  • Malkovich steals the show. Clint plays Clint, which isn't bad but not really ground breaking. Dangerous Liaisons is great, much better than that crap re-make.

  • Actually i like frank in this movie, he seems like a friendly guy :D

  • i was in reunio arena in dallas whil e obama was there those rednek dall cop order metal detector to be turned off im so glad some psycho didn bring a plastic gin in there

  • i see u frank..i see u standing over the grave of another dead president...cool! how to assasinate 101,,,,,John will be a great teacher,,,and i fucking mean it!

  • SO YOU SHOW ME SOME GOD DAM RESPECT HAS GOT 2 BE 1 OF THE BEST MOVIE LINE EVER ,,,MALKOVICH IS A BLOODY GREAT ACTOR

  • "We can't have monsters roaming the quiet countryside now can we?"

  • I think Clints "rendezvous" comment was an attempt to make the scene a bit more homoerotic

  • that first scene is too badass

  • Comment removed

  • "You have a rendevouz with my ass motherfucker!" Didn't know Eastwood's character was gay in this.

  • Comment removed

  • so you show me SOME GOD-DAMN RESPECT!

  • I love this scene, especially the way Malkovich says "Uh, the address?? Come on Frank..." lol

  • i always laugh with pleasure when he says show me some goddamn respect!

  • More homo subtext(possibly) Clint "I know who you are,Leary" "I've seen what you do to friends." JM "What's that supposed to mean?" "What does your wife say about you Frank?" "Frank you of all people, I WANT YOU to UNDERSTAND" Clint "What do you see when you in the dark, when the demons come?"(demons = homosexual impulses) JM "I see you ,Frank"--- Could easily reas into this film, just like Top Gun

  • LOL "You have a rendezvous with my ass,MF!" Do you know how many times-- I've watched you go in and out-- of that apartment?" homo subtext anyone?

  • He has NO REMORSE in this movie. Great assasin. Clint Eastwood got him though at the end.

  • i want his gun O_O

  • 1:31 "now look what you guys made me do....."

  • That expression he does at 1:19 is classic!

  • Osborn Cox?

  • @tehkao Brilliant:-)

  • I love his subdued apathetic psychotic side.

  • The last 10 seconds make me stand up and applaud lol...geez....beautiful acting.

  • "you have a rendezvous with my ass motherfucker"...that sounded slightly gay Clint.

  • Yawn. Hollywood does Timothy Mcveigh. sigh.

  • Malkovich is just stunning in the phone scene of this clip.. One of my favourite scenes of any film, awsome acting

  • Good ass movie.

  • Amazing acting from John Malkovich

  • John Malkovich should have won the best supporting actor oscar for this......one of the best villians in years. (he lost to Tommy lee Jones in "The Fugitive".)

  • "You have a rendezvous with my ass MOTHERFUCKER!!" That was funny.

  • that ship looks rather too expensive to shoot

  • "Do you have any idea what I've done for God and country!!" Some how this line stuck in my head for almost 20 yrs....

  • "Hello Frank, how did you feel when Kennedy was assassinated? I bet you felt bad, being there and not being able to do anything..." :)

  • Classic film saw it back in the theatres. I still quote it. My Freshman English teacher looked like John.

  • "Why'd you kill that bird, asshole ?

They should use that scene for a wwf commercial.^^

  • you shouldn't have put the first minute and 20 seconds in the clip. just the phone scene...

  • @hippiehatr agreed....

  • 3:45 - 4:40. And 4:54. best parts of the whole movie. "you have a rendezvous with my ass mother fucker!"

  • I really think John Malkovich should play the next Joker.

  • I really think John Malkovich should play the next Joker

  • In my opinion, Mr. Malkovich has to be one of the greatest contemporary actors. So much talent and such great acting is not easy to find nowadays.

  • Im gettin the PIG!!

  • what does the guy say at 1:07?

  • @MetaIhead89 You wouldn't be interested in selling it would you?

  • LOL @ sunk their claws into me!

  • Malkovich would honestly be an amazing C.I.A. Operator.

  • @mcmillspiece damn, john is a sexy son of a bitch

  • 0:30-0:34 is Freaking Hilarious!!! looking how calm his face is!

  • Goodness!!! John Malkovich is Sexy! i'm 14 and i think he's so Damn Sexy!!! i wanna...

  • @hellokittybeegee108 u wh or e!!!

  • Greatest hang-up of all time! I'm gonna do this to my wife next time she calls me when I go out after work lol

  • Why didn't Malkowich win an Oscar? Hell, why didn't he win 2?

  • @AttackMyAss Because he had the misfortune of being nominated the same year as Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive. Both were deserving, Tommy Lee won.

  • @AttackMyAss because the academy is full of bullshit.

  • 4:52 one of the best movie scenes ever!!!

  • Malkovich outplays Eastwood in this film. That's why he got a nomination for an Academy Award.

  • I've always loved this movie.

Wonderful film and Malkovich is so excellent in the whole movie. Love the scene with the hunters... SCARY....when the hunters realize he's not kidding.

There was some other movie where the villian talks to the good guy on the phone in several scenes. Anyone remember which it is?

  • At the very end of this video; Malkovich: "So you show me some GOD DAMN RESPECT".

I thought this guy was nuts the 1st time I saw this scene. Now I'd act like that myself if I was in the same situation as him.

  • The most powerful line in this movie, for me is "Do you have any idea what i've done for god and country? some pretty fucking horrible things. I don't even remember who i was before they sunk their claws into me." That one line says so much about his past. How he says it with such anger tells you that it brings up a lot of bad memories for him. In some ways i feel a little sorry for him. Then again he did choose his profession. He must have known what he was getting himself into. Great movie.

  • Absolutely awsome performance by Malkovich... One of the best scences in a film of all time

  • Na linii ognia - rewelacyjny film! :)) oglądałam już ze 4x i z chęcią obejrzałabym raz jeszcze ;P

    Malkovich - the best aktor! :D 5

  • "Did you delouse?" Great line and delivery. A shame these two guys never did another movie together.

  • @Jahsur,

    They did Changeling.

  • I would change one line. Instead of Eastwood saying

"You have a rendezvous with my ASS motherfucker"

    I would have

"You have a rendezvous with my FIST motherfucker."

  • Wow , John Malkovich sounds just like Kevin Spacey in " Seven" and " The Usual Suspects" here. Especially when he have his calm voice.

  • I loved this movie. He was so awsome. I could really identify with the scene where he says, "Why did you kill that bird asshole."

  • Another Malcovich must see movie is "Burn after reading". where he plays a character named Osborn Cox!

  • @esisnem yea but I'd have to say on the whole the movie stunk

  • "Damn, now I gotta put all this shit back on godamn it!"

  • Malkovich is a great actor, love him in killer roles.

  • 1:30-1:35

    (*_*)

  • love Clint as ever! Malkovich is amazing... he plays great Psycho & charming characters.

    great film ~

  • it was funny when he killed those 2 hicks

  • Truly classic movie, only better game of cat & mouse i seen in a movie was between Al Pacino & Robert De Niro in the movie HEAT,bad guys v good guys movies will NEVER disappear, plus Clint ALWAYS gets the greatest lines.

  • check out phone booth with colin farrell

  • "You have a rendezvous with my ass!"... sounds kinda fruity.

  • Comment removed

  • "You have a rendezvous with my ass motherfucker" - Another fine line from the iconic Clint Eastwood.

  • the best

  • Either servants of power...

  • Malkovich was such a psycho in this movie. But great.

  • OMG when malkovich was young he could have played the best hunter s thompson

  • " do you have any idea of wait I done for God and country?" We do, we do.

  • "so you show me some GODDAMN RESPECT!!!!"

  • Malkovich - WONDERFUL ACTOR!

loved him in Dangerous Liaisons & Of Mice and Men aswell :)

This film is great, loved Malkovich reaction after he shot the two men 1:33 so calm and relaxed lol

    Eastwood & Malkovich <3

  • umm...die in a hole

  • CLINT -- THE MAN

    MALCOVICH-- THE MAN

  • the gun looks like it's made from white chocolate

  • @btq28 It's composite; like plastic.

  • what's the matter with that motherf*cking gun?

  • My good buddy and I made fun of these 2 scenes for weeks. Why did you kill that bird, asshole? You have a rendezvous with my ASS mother FUCKER! Priceless!

  • wo ist AMMMOOOKKKKK

  • Why did you killed that bird asshole ?

    *Bang*

    Great movie

  • You have a rendezvous with my ass motherfucker!!

  • amazing actor, such a psychopath in the movie lol

  • John Malkovich underrated actor

  • @Mega916 definitely.

  • @Mega916 Does the Secret Service get Secret Service protection? I always thought that's what the Doris Day song "Secret Love" was about. The Secret Service that protects the Secret Service. And, oh my, oh my, what confusion on Opposite Day, when The President and Vice President have to protect the Secret Service(s). There should be an entire division of Homeland Security devoted to Opposite Day. They could use the secret lisp code -- Thecret Thervithe.

  • @Mega916 Amen to that!

  • @Mega916 My second favorite actor next to leonardo dicaprio

  • Malkovich is s o g o o d !

  • What's scary is someone could actually come up with a gun like this and commit a murder to a politician or someone in the public eye for that matter.

  • @itssold16 Actually I don't think it's possible to make a gun like this with no metal in it. People have made "zip guns" disguised as things like phones or torches, but they can only be used once. And they probably would still set off metal detectors. But of course we all know it's possible to kill a President.

  • 04:38

  • r those guns for sale

  • If you mean Leary's gun, no, for obvious reasons. He made it out of composite materials in order to bypass metal detectors.

  • John and Frank are awsome in this. Totally underrated movie.

  • Classic, love the chilled, stoned look on his face when he shoots.

  • Why did you kill that bird asshole?hahahaha

  • "You have a rendezvous with my ass mother fucker".....I love Clint.....Malkovich is amazing.....great movie.

  • show me some GOD DAMN RESPECT!!!!!!!! Malkovich does a great job in this role.

  • john is absolutely awesome one of my favorite actors with Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman. His acting skills are very polished

  • hur.....RRAAAAHHH!

  • Ducks 1

    Gun toting redneck assholes 0

  • lol

nxt time im watching baseball or watevr im gonna yell GO DUCKS! (Who here is rooting for the red Sox, huh?)

  • Why did u kill that bird, asshole? John Malkovich is my favorite actor

  • I love this movie,2 greats eastwood N Malkovich.great action flick too.

  • "Why did you kill that bird, *sshole?" *BANG BANG*

    Hurrah!

  • HURRAH!

  • Booth: "I see you Frank... I see you standing over the grave of another dead president". No matter how many times I hear that line, it always chills my blood. Malkovich was terrific in this movie, but then again he's a great actor. One of the best thriller movies ever made. Thanks for sharing.

  • It's the demented smile after he says it that gets me...

  • Comment removed

  • LEary??? dah your stupid its MALKOVICH! you jerk!

  • Why did Leary kill the hunters?

  • He just killed them for fun. He had no reason, like he killed the 2 girls in their home.

  • He killed them because he was covering his tracks. No witnesses. It was not for fun.

  • so you show me smo GOD DAMN RESPECT! LOL!!!

  • Great movie, great screenplay!Eastwood and Malkovich characters have a relationship in this movie, however odd.Malkovichs character to me has a sense of honor to the game. For me a great back and forth.

  • Best line of the movie is in the elevator toward the end:

Do you believe in the nobility of suicide?

No, but if you wanna blow your goddam head off, go ahead, be my guest!

    Makes me laugh every time!

  • yeah that too! Simple things that clint eastwood say makes me laugh too, like when lily leaves the room when they were about to have sex:

"damn lily....I gotta put all that shit back on god damnit"

  • 4:38 - 4:40 LOOOOOOOOOOL

that phone call shows two fantastic performences!!

  • Yup, they had some great dialog & interplay there - you don't see that in too many films these days. Last one I can rmbr w/exchanges this good was There Will Be Blood.

  • Both of these guys are outstanding actors. I love Malkovich's performance in this part, especially his statement at the end. I have the movie and I've watched this part over and over. It's easy to forget it's an act. Big Salute to both guys. This is one of my favorite movies.

  • What a GREAT scene! God....why don't they make movies like this anymore!?

Looking forward to seeing bad ass Clint in Gran Tarino!

  • You have a rendezvous with my ass, motherfucker!

  • I think rendezvous with my fist would've sounded better

  • this film looks fuckin awesome!

  • John Malkovich plays a excellent part in this film 10/10.

  • John Malkovich is one of the best actors of all time

  • The scene that earned Malkovich an Oscar, of which he was promptly robbed at the following year's awards ceremony

  • Is he really? It really doesn't matter, his acting is so amazingly superb.

Being gay doesn't factor in one bit on how someone acts. For instance, one of the best actors I've ever seen on screen is Sir Ian McKellen. He's gay, and I could truly care less about that.

  • the telephone-scene was my favorite when i saw this movie many years ago, and it still is! awesome..

  • You're right - love how Booth finally snaps, while Frank remains calm! The roles are completely turned around.

  • this is truly acting at its very finest

  • malkovich is a god

  • "mind if i give her a little dance?" haha

  • Clint eatswood saying a naughty and bad word?

  • one of those amazing films not many ppl really know about. malkovich when he's calm reminds me of kevin spacey for some reason.

  • Me too. Besides in Seven Spacey says to Pitt "you're alive because i let you live, think about that for the rest of the life" just like here.

  • Very cool scene with John and Clint on the phone. Great performance by Malkovich. I love actors that can do sheer unhinged like that, at the drop of a hat. The only others I can think of are Hopkins and Oldman.

It's an interesting juxtaposition with an actor like Clint who usually does the coolly reserved killer.

    Two great performances right there.
